Here i am hearing all the good words about this game and people say, there is no woke shit to find. While DEI is on full display and 1900 Paris have been turned into a coontown. This is a no buy, these sneaky ex-ubisoft developers aint fooling me with their globohomo shit.

Currently on the red forest, Maelle is Bestaelle. She shreds enemies and bosses. Abusing the fuck out of burn since you can keep stacking so even in down time i can keep up damage. Combat feels like Lost odyssey but the overworld feels like FF9 to me. Love the sub-bosses and they feel different from eachother. Honestly the game on Hard, isnt as hard if you actually parry and dodge perfectly, hell in most combat encounters you wont even take damage most of the time which the game rewards. The characters and pictos feel like they want you to purposely break them and abuse their abilities. Been going blind but what ive assembled so far has helped me fight bosses with little to no problem(once i learn the pattern)

It's more than just that. This strat I cooked up also helps with getting the 9999 damage in a single hit challenge in the Gestral Village. I'm also vastly overleveled because I did that one boss that you have to parry every single hit for at like level 12. I love how easily you can break this game in two with just a little bit of setup.
Maelle gets a weapon that starts her off in Virtuouse Stance.
From there, I respecced and dropped everything into Momentum Strike. This attack does more damage in Virtuose Stance as well as costing way less AP.

Im going to be honest.
Woke and fun > not woke and shit.
I disagree with the categorization that the game is woke. Even a sped like synthetic man was able to leave his baggage at the door and he said it was game of the year potential. If youre more of an obsessive about woke shit than a weirdo like synth i don't think you'll ever find a non woke game again.

There's a strong difference between a game being woke and a game having a black character, and some people don't seem to understand that.

I got this game on a whim and went completely blind, after seeing all the praises and reading how short it is, only 20-30 hours for a JRPG is fucking nothing.
And holy shit. This has to be the best opening to a jrpg I've ever seen, and one of the best introductions to a game ever. I'm hooked.
The gameplay is also pretty fun so far.
The only issue is how dogshit UE5 is. The game is a blurry mess and performs terribly. It's annoying because when my PC has trouble keeping 60fps it makes it harder to land the timings correctly.

The absolute worst part is getting stutters during QTEs for abilities.

If the game is woke but super fun, i wont give a shit because the fun part supercedes it. If im gonna cry woke everytime i see some nigger or some woman being actually useful then i might just cover my eyes for the rest of eternity. Truly sad that people will avoid good games just because of a nigger or some woman be strong or useful.

Completely valid complaints, and that's the main reason I am iffy to buy as well; anyone who claims you are being hyperbolic is a slack jawed retard too stupid to understand what led to progressives ruining entertainment to begin with. I was initially interested when I saw there was a cute redhead and positive reception, but personally I am going to wait for Synthetic Man's review before I purchase because cramming in browns is always a really bad sign for any piece of entertainment. I have no interest giving money to people who hate me and my people, and I do not care how angry that makes progressives, but I also have to see if that's a persistent theme in the game and not one screenshot from an intro segment.
