I do wonder if Gustave's death would have been more impactful had Charlie Cox and Ben Starr swapped roles?

Fuck you Giant Sapling. The journals are definitely giving Horizon vibes

What i tried is Lune Maelle and Verso

Against giant sapling
I usually try burning him first with Lune so Mae goes into virtuoso mode and then Verso use defiant strike to mark the sapling but it doesn't always work. Then I either use Lune's fire attack where every turn after she automatically hits with her fire then Maelle's percee. She has a virtuoso attack that breaks the boss but he usually recovers fast. Still keeps kicking my ass....

It's totally optional. Just come back later.

Dude, Maelle has a skill that breaks all Armour on the enemy.
Use that skill versus the sapling, and also give her as much Speed bonuses as possible.

Also, I would recommend investment in Speed, be it from pictos, stats or buffs from Sciel. It's probably the best stat in this game, considering the bullshit gimmicks of late game bosses.

By the end game might as well spend all the stat points on optimizing weapon damage since pictos effect is massive.

No might about it. You get far bigger gains on health, speed, crit, etc. from pictos than you ever do from stats. You'll definitely want to respec all your points into your weapon of choice's scaling before anything else.

Finally got through this, and I know it's a sentiment that's been similarly said in this thread several times, but this is easily one of the best games I've played in years, actual fucking masterpiece in almost every conceivable way. Already preordered the soundtrack on CDs for when it comes out, and I can't wait to see what else comes from this studio in the future.

Also
Renoir was the only character who was 100% right and the Verso ending is the correct option.

A no dodge challenge run, not really as interesting as his other videos (it's basically over once he gets Maelle and can power level everything), but a good excuse to remember how fucking good the soundtrack is.

At least it's not a "No Level" run where the streamers still buy skills and using late game pictos. Not a lot of crazy runs possible in the game due to being a fairly straightforward RPG without stuff like items.

All baguette weapon run with picto restrictions.

Game is apparently getting snubbed already for GOTY nominations. Not listed for the Golden Joysticks first list of GOTY nominees.

that’s about 150 million in sales after online store cut, probably 100-120 million in profit here. I don’t think they need “investors” for the next games.
