circumsizing a baby out of spite seems weird, like most guys in the US are circumsized so its not really a big deal, but if you found out the reason your parents decided to circumsize you was to upset your dad you might think thats a little weird.

Sorry, it was a Christian who started this dumb practice, John Kellogg, and promoted it as an anti-masturbation measure. He also was in favor of female genital mutilation. Unfortunately, the first actually caught on to the point it became a routine hospital practice.

They usually get signatures for this shit when you're barely out from under the anesthesia, so if you don't want this to happen, make sure you make it clear in advance and do NOT sign anything giving permission for it.

All memes aside, Americans are so mentally buck broken that they circumise their children and cope about it's "benefits", such as its supposed health benefits (non-existent) or that it looks nicer (lol gay boy).
