That's not really how hacking works, sugertits. At least it doesn't work like that with phones unless you're a TeleCom, the NSA, or you have the phones simcard.

The debate is settled, folks. It's coming straight from the horse's mouth this time.

Even if "Renee" had revealed to Chris that she was a troll, he wouldn't have believed it.

Chris hasn't received any communication from Renee in weeks, he sees that all of his texts to her are being leaked, and he (obliquely) indicates that he's aware of our discussion about his fake gal-pals (in which one of the principals acknowledges participation).

When Chris synthesizes this evidence, what he doesn't conclude is that he's been fooled once again. No.

Instead, he reasons that his gal-pal is real (but AWOL), that someone else is intercepting and leaking his texts to her, and that an organized group of people have taken advantage of his friend's unexplained silence to plant false information in the hope of tricking him into believing that she (and others) were fake.

I believe he met "Catherine" in person once but has only interacted with Renee via email.

This might be frowned upon by some people, but I really think you'll eventually need to tell Chris the truth. As you can see, he'll do anything he possibly can to make himself feel better about it.

Chris still believes that the big PSN hack a few years ago were the work of trolls trying to steal his account. If he thinks that this recent hack is also the work of trolls, then that means Clyde Cash is working for Kim Jong Un.
