I was pretty mad at the internet yesterday when I came here, just felt like adding that I do understand anyone feeling hurt when they hear their supposed friends 'misgender' them. That's not politics, that's just a shitty relationship. Imagine having a friend who wants to become a teacher and really invests in this dream, studying hard, giving his all for his students and then one day you're having a fallout and you just openly tell them you never believed in them, that they are a bad teacher and you were just being nice the whole time. He should stop teaching. I mean, might be true, maybe he is, but it definitely is not an insult you can just add to something else. It's something you should probably talk about.

So, what I am saying is: Don't feel obligated to enable delusions. Like the teacher friend the tranny friend deserves honest feedback, too.

And Chris still is no woman. Neither are you

There are plenty of people who have transitioned to whatever sex/gender they wanted to that you don't hear from or know about, because they're trying to make the best of it and quietly live their lives in the way which makes them the least unhappy. Those ones are all right. You wouldn't know them if you walked past them in the street, because they're a woman now, and that's the end of it for them. I've got time for that. You do you, innit.

The ones you hear from all the time, the shrieking hordes and the utter fucking messes, have transitioned to being trans. That identity is all they have, and the instant anyone disparages it in any way—like, as an extreme example, pointing out that someone capable of raping a demented octogenarian doesn't deserve the respect of self-identity—they're obliged to go fucking mental at you.

It's like a massive corporation trying to crush an Etsy store for having a faintly similar name. They have to be seen to defend their trademarks.

I don’t know what the hell I was expecting from reddit but I guess time and time again they show their true colors and what they truly prioritize. From what I can see r/truscum is the only trans subreddit that seems to give a fuck about Chris’ actions and not his pronouns lmao.

They don't care about chris, they care about their own egos. They think if you misgender a trans person it means you're delegitimizing every trans person experiences, which means theirs, which means that's all that matters. Maybe in the broadest, most esoteric, sense they have a point. But there's better battles to fight then the pronoun semantics of a mentally ill mother-fucker.

I'm honestly just sick of this culture war bullshit. Sick of it from the right, sick of it from the left, sick of it from everybody. The world has serious, potentially devastating, problems and we're just posting on twitter about shit that never mattered. We keep confusing our personal issues with actual, physical, problems in the world and it is literally destroying us as a society. The west is on fire, there's manmade famines wreaking havoc in Africa, China is expanding its nuclear stockpile, and America's major issue is what we call a small minority of the population.

So once again, an actual woman has to apologize for being raped, because the person who raped her is on the oppression ladder in some way.
