It's a pretty smart move from Sega, catering to the superautists on Sonic fandom (or not, since they buy whatever shit with Sonic's name slapped on anyways), this is autistic catnip.

Whenever the fuck that is released is when Chris abandons Sonichu again (if not earlier). Why invest a minimum effort doodling when he can play make believe with vidya?

In any case the editor would probably not allow for an exact Sonichu replica and he will throw a tantrum because of it not having the REQUIRED pieces or whatever and the editor not being tailor-made to him and him only.

The thing is, comic was never Chris intention, and he is not comitted to that medium. Just the terminology he uses to talk about it (episodes, tv pg ratings) is from cartoons. That's what he wants to do, but can't.

I can't remember any instance of Chris liking/referencing comics (as opposed to anime) besides that Love is Love one he couldnt shut the fuck up about some time ago.

Back when he was into LBP it was beginning to look like he considered it a valid replacement to the comics at some points.

He intended comics as a significant component of the Sonichu Media Empire. Basically, they're his franchise's version of the Sonic Archie comics. He just started those first because they're easier to produce than a show or game.
