I'm not sure if it's that or the way there's a "Disabled" (big D emphasis theirs, not mine) movement who think that curing disabilities is genocide and disabled people (deaf, blind, etc.) have their own culture they want to preserve. So I guess you could say that redditor believes that we must secure the existence of autistic people and a future for autistic children.
