Crunchy is great, I find that they get less powder on your hands then the puffs although that may just be me.

My cat is highly driven to share your crunchy Cheetos, by force if necessary, but if you give him a puffy Cheeto he licks it until it's a damp and cheeseless corn wad melting into the carpet and then walks off.
