A thread for all cheese related happenings.

Today there's been a massive recall for several popular specialty cheese brands under the highest possible risk warning from the FDA due to listeria contamination.
Listeria is a bacteria that can cause high fever, severe headaches, nausea, diarrhea in healthy patients and even potentially death in those with weakened immune systems. It's also likely to cause miscarriages/stillbirths in pregnant women.

Products affected:
  • Ambriola Grated Pecorino Romano (sold by the pound)
  • Boar’s Head Grated Pecorino Romano 6-ounce cup
  • Boar’s Head Pecorino Romano Grated bag (sold by the pound)
  • Locatelli Pecorino Romano Grated 4-ounce cup
  • Locatelli Grated Pecorino Romano 8-ounce cup
  • Locatelli Grated Pecorino Romano (sold by the pound)
  • Member’s Mark Pecorino Romano 1.5-pound bag
  • Pinna Grated Pecorino Romano (sold by the pound)
States affected:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

I found this really good goat's milk Brie from this Vermont brand called Montchevre, it seems they only sell it during the summer time though. If you guys can find it, absolutely give it a try!

Publix got another chance to kill people and shrug it off.
I've never understood the boars head premium bullshit, it's not. It's CLEARLY not. I read about this and it's almost lolcow worthy. An Heir holds a massive percentage of the company, lives in his own Candyland on top of the factory and is letting the actual facility rot to shit. He's rocking a full Howard Hughes facility.

And there's enough money behind the company apparently the inspectors look elsewhere.

Also, OP, I resent you. You could have just named this thread "Cheese" and it would have served the same purpose. But you BLEW IT!

Boar's Head again? Didn't they kill a bunch of people last year? How are they still in business?

Yeah, stuff like this is why I've started getting my cheese in blocks and shredding my own, much better tasting too.

So one company makes all of these and any name brand is just bullshit marketing. Got it.

THIS IS due to the Jews destroying all checks and balances by putting shitskins in every job position, this means that you cannot trust anything to be safe anymore, anything you buy could kill you.

Fuck kikes from now till the end of time

I put this in Food instead of A&H for a reason, you miserable faggot

It's food for thought, and it takes very little thought to realize that it's the jews it's the jews it's the jews

Afterall, they control everything, so either they did this on purpose, or they they are incompetent, either way it's their fault that there is barely any food left and it's all poisoned.

Not exactly, cheese tends to be regional, and Boar's head is even more isolationist. I'm going to expect this latest kill frenzy is related to the Virginia facility, same as last time.
It is however, an extremely cutthroat and litigious field.

What the fuck?! The FDA website got mediafied, it looks like shit now. It used to be a boring 90's site, now it's asking me if it's helpful.
(I was trying to source the product, the FDA notice reads like a press release and says West Caldwell, NJ, which means sweet fuck all.)
(I was wrong about the facility, more detail in later replies.)

What I was saying is some random factory with no name recognition makes the cheese and Boars Head and others just slap their label on it and claims the credit.
