The content isn't offensive or super NSFW at least. Just...a lot at once. When people in the closed species/adoptable thread talk about furries spending $400 on a character ref sheet, this is the sort of thing I would think of. Instead of the half body, single drawing people actually buy for that amount.
 
Is it bad to ask artists if they can take inspiration from one of their character designs? That seems like a very nasty thing to even think about on toyhou.se

It's better to just do whatever you want and don't ask. They don't have any comprehension of what's inspiration and what's copying anyway. Oh, you use the same color pallet on the same species of animal? You thief! I own that color pallet and that animal!

That's rare common sense, you have no idea. It's just funny to think, you can draw a (insert closed species) just don't call it a (insert closed species)

That's the big fault in those communities, but with individual (23+ yr old) artists drawing a dog with emo hair, getting angry at 13 yr olds and other artists who draw something similar to them is really embarrassing. As long as its not directly tracing, or re-uploading it, why is it a big issue?

Many argue on toyhou.se that ocs are personal or their personas... That's okay! Why show it on the internet then and get mad if someone else draws a emo dog too. Keep it to ur own super special juicy secret hyper force discord follow 4 follow club.

This design sold for $250 and she didn't even draw the lines, it's a paid base by an artist by the name of Vani.

How much you wanna bet they act like they are a "poor minority" after all this? It seem to be a running theme with furries. Middle class fags who overprice their art and buy a bunch of useless shit- only to turn around and use their "minority status" to say they're poor & oppressed.

I have to question whoever even buys these, like my god. Are they braindead? Who has that much money to waste on a character where the artist used a base? Very generic designs mind you. All I can say is that I hope the person she paid to use the base was paid a lot.

Some idiots just have more money than they do common sense.
The real stupidity is of those who will drop 300+ for a design on a pre-made base but never actually use it.

The base is itself isn't too expensive.

I’m actually familiar with this oc and his fashion sense is supposed to be deliberately bad! Iirc his toy house page describes it along the likes of “blind thrift shopping” and it mentions he likes stuff with badly translated slogans. Guessing the vagina shirt is a real thing that exists somewhere and the artist is goofing.
