Teaser trailer doesn't look like shit, quite the contrary. I think there is not release date yet, but it should be this year...?
 
I dont know when exactly I realized this while I was reading it but the setup and vibes its giving me reminds me of No More Heroes.
I mean: naive but goodhearted horny killer + manipulative lady is now one of my favorite tropes.

Reading Fire Punch is one hell of a ride. Very high peaks, but very confusing lows. I agree the ending is kinda bad, I wish they had went with something that was not so absurdly meta.

All I know is that that it's moving to the biweekly series instead of weekly. They might be working up a backlog.

I really do enjoy this guy’s writing and style.

The funny thing is, the next arc for ChainsawMan could literally be anything. Hell, it could be an entirely different genre if he wanted, given that there’s only 2-3 surviving members of the original.

Saw some blind speculation that it’ll go to a school setting, and the high schooler with the giant octopus familiar will return as part of the main cast.

Either way, the great thing about Chainsaw Man is that Part 1 is pretty much a self-contained, complete story, so even in the worst case scenario that Part 2 is total garbage, you can just ignore that it exists and still enjoy what we got so far.

It got announced today that the anime will not be censoring anything from the manga.

"First and foremost, we wont be censoring anything. We want to be true to the source material."
