He's actually just straight up ending the manga without resolving anything and pissing everyone off.

Literally the funniest outcome.

I'm sure there will be Part 3, Fujimoto isn't a retard like Gege

Final chapter?
FINAL CHAPTER?
Has Fujimoto fucking lost it?

I just don't see how he can pull off a Fire Punch-tier kino ending at this point.

Edit:
Hopefully this means it's the end of part 2 and not the whole series, and Fujimoto is just using this as a a way to take a large fucking break and come back to peak art style in part 3 (or a longer epilogue).
This feels like he is really burned out and wants to take a break, but Japaniggers don't allow it.

I would be pretty surprised if he just straight up ends the whole thing like this. If he it'd hand a bit fat W to everyone who's been shitting on the series. Then again given how he's been spacing new chapters out by two weeks lately maybe he's just burned out and wants to call it quits.

I don't know what everyone is freaking out about. Chainsawman Part 1 has run for 97 chapters. Chainsawman Part 2 has run for like 120. Of course this portion is almost over.

That being said, nobody said that Part 3 would even be called Chainsawman. Asa has been just as much of a main character of part 2 at this point that Denji has been. Fujimoto has to wrap this up somehow. The world got fucked up and he needs a reset. Denji will have to move on, without Pochita and without Chainsawman this time. He also set up plenty of unresolved plot lines, so there's always room to come back. Maybe Denji makes a new contract. Maybe we get something brand new.

At bare minimum I expect him to offer a cliffhanger that goes unresolved for months if not years until part 3 comes out.

this is from part 1's penultimate chapter. so there is that.

I'm sure he'll enjoy his time off, work on the anime, and then come back in a year or two. I don't think we'll get a big cliffhanger though. All of Fujimoto's stories very much have a "If I keel over and die, this can still be an ending" feeling to them. So I don't see that coming.

People assumed it was ending, but no one could guess it was 2 chapters from the end. This is extremely abrupt and doesn't even seems to close off any of the main plot points of part 2.
Part 1's ending actually closed off most plot points, and the last chapter was just an epilogue that left things open for part 2 but also worked as good ending for the series.
