Keep being told to watch this but absolutely hate shonen typically. Does it have a lot of typical shonen trops / is it good enough to push through those segments?
A lot of the central plot is satire of the "goofy horny protagonist" shonen trope, in that the main character is explicitly motivated mostly by sex, with food and shelter being his only other motivations, and most of the major plot points have something to do with it in some way. It's not played for humor hardly at all though.

I wonder why Michigan of all places. Is Michigan known for anything beyond Detroit, cars, and weed?
Dies that mean that War feels she deadass owns all of Michigan?
Did I miss something when did she get Michigan lmao.
Also, whenever the Chainsaw Devil fights it’s non-stop aura farming. I love it, just absolute carnage.
As someone else pointed out, it probably helps that Michigan's auto industry helped make a lot of the weapons for World War II so Yoru probably has some authority because of that.

Now I'm curious what other states would be next, I won't be surprised if Yoru turns the state of Texas into a weapon to make a chainsaw out of it, for a very easy reference

Fuck up the third world instead, please. There hasn't been a war inside the States' borders since the 1850s, war owns, like, Iraq and stuff.

Mappa seems to love Chainsawman a lot so maybe they keep telling Bandai/Namco to fuck off
the odd thing with chainsaw man is that it's much more popular in the west than in japan, probably due to all the references to western media like movies and shit in it so it could just be that there's no appetite for a game in japan and that's why no japanese devs have tried to pitch one

All shonen games suck barring 50% of DBZ games and maybe few Naruto titles.

Love the colors but this really isn't helping with the debates over whether Yoru has red or yellow eyes

Why's she using a sword shaped like the word Oregon made out of Michigan?

(And let's be real, Gray Davis did nothing wrong considering the rest of the country).
