I watched this anime after reading a few chapters in the manga. This is a very, very strange series. The director behind this thing decided to basically have no music, like a live action TV show. Things are mundane until they aren't. Also the art is half anime, half realistic in how it depits people.

I'd put this next to Star Trek The Motion Picture on the WTF did I just watch kino scale. Definitely worth a rewatch, further reading.

Also Barem not bothering to transform or bring the other weapon hybrids as backup because he's just that fucking cocky and arrogant is perfectly in character.

No Barem is the flamethrower hybrid, which means his contract was with the flamethrower weapon devil specifically, there's a separate Fire Devil who we met earlier.

So people wp
would forget about flamethrowers but not necessarily fire itself.
 
Darkness Devil rematch incoming? The last time all those doors showed up in the sky he showed up too.

I feel like the odds are pretty decent here. Darkness is strong but he's up against another primal fear (Death) and a demon known to be notoriously powerful to the point of primal fear tier strength (Pochita)

Plus Fami but what is that bum going to do?
