My initial impression from that blurb is that it's Asa as well. I loved their autistic chemistry and am looking forward to their neurodivergent love rekindling!

Doesn't it eventually stall out when he runs out of blood? Or is that just his ability to instantaneously regenerate? Plus, the only time I recall him transforming without his ripcord getting pulled is when he first made the contract. I figured the numbers were just different sections of the leg, didn't occur to me that it was regenerating too fast for them to effectively seal off the wound.
 
They could be harvesting his legs to make weapons of some sort out of.

Theory about when Asa couldn't make him into a weapon: He's already a weapon, he doesn't need to transform into a sword. If she actually does "own" him, she can already "wield" him by telling him to kill someone. If that's ever going to be the explicit reasoning, I think it's probably about to come up.
 
My hope is that the next chapter or so shows what Asa has been doing for the week since it would be a shame to miss what she's been up to. Hell my personal hope is that Kishibe is creating his own coup against public safety and probably recruited a few people.

But we'll have to see what happens since anything goes here.
 
So Denji, without drinking any blood, regens so fast they have to cut his leg off 27+ times before they can actually seal it off, but apparently Asa's still missing her arm from what I assume is a few days ago. How does regeneration work in this IP?

Did they say they cut it off 27 times? I just assume transformation into a devil form resets your body

if they really wanted to seal him, shouldnt they just cut out his heart since that's what gives him his powers? unless they greedy and just want to harvest his limbs to make make weapons.

I mean regeneration works from someone drinking blood but that only applies to devils and hybrids, and its not clear if Asa is a hybrid or just has a contract like Aki. Denji presumably was given blood to drink while being sterilized.

Also yes it was 27 times, since they referred to the recent leg they cut off as "right leg 26" before planning on harvesting "right leg 27"

It'd be a lot easier to stick Pochita in a different cell across the complex, and tell him Denji survives as long as he stays in dog form. (Also, I always want to see more Pochita, he's a good boy)

Asa is a fiend, with her mind left intact. I think. All the hybrids we've seen have a specific transformation sequence, and their devil is passive (outside of a broken contract).

Quanxi appears in the end, either she is going to throw hands with everyone or help them out, but we'll have to see.
