Man, poor Denji. Spent all of Part 1 being used by a company run by a Devil only to finally be free and managing to live on his own terms…only to get dragged back into being controlled by a organization also being run by a Devil.

Man broke free of his leash only to be collared and tied down again.

Tbf, "don't use your superpowers because you constantly fuck up everything around you" isn't really being controlled. And Denji is just bored out of his mind living an ordinary life (which is extremely ironic considering that's what he always yearned for).

I mean, he’s got a group specifically out making sure he doesn’t use his powers and telling him exactly how to live.

He probably will and will be disappointed when that thing he's been chasing this whole time turns out to be nowhere near as good as he thought it would, ironically for the exact reasons makima outlined after his incident with power. I suspect either he'll go into another existential crisis or Asa will happen upon him mid act and it'll cause some stupid fuckin drama arc.
