Block free VPN ranges, all of them are used to DDoS and pilot bots that make constant search queries, mass download pictures to strain the servers and other most common attack methods that permafucked lesser sites.

Hotspot shares your traffic with central server, doesn't encrypt your outgoing traffic and makes you open for man in the middle attacks. Hotspot shield is used by botters, spammers and more. Public browser proxy websites do exact same shit, spam search queries, download en masses, repeated refreshes, etc.

I think he just heard the term on teh interwebz and likes it. It would make sense for an autist to mix and match different regional quirks he likes, since they wouldn't realize how weird and not cool it sounds.

He said at some point in the Kennel Club chat last night that it was 7:00AM his time (I didn't screenshot, sadly), which at the time he said it would have implied he is either living in UTC+3, or he just made it up to distract us.
