So in case you haven't heard, the northeast corner of Spain is having a vote on declaring independence from the rest of the country. The central government is trying to shut it down. It's kind of a big deal.

What degree do you study? Also, I feel ya. Is not exactly on the 21,but my flight (I'm currently studying abroad and I return for Christmas Holidays) goes to Barcelona, where I would pick a train (also I wanted to visit some people from there). Boy, the clown fiesta is real.

Hey, our Government is always crap independently of being left or right leaning. But it's sad to admit that Rajoy is right about the Catalonian shitshow. Yet he still managed to fuck up with his actions on the "referendum day", although that is not surprising.

I would personally have no problems with the Catalonian independence if they went through the right(legal) channels. They didn't, so I'm against it. You can't oppose the near-law-breaking Government by breaking the law. Same with the corruption cases.
