The whole Boxtown thing is hilarious to me. A lot of grifting that "animation is in trouble" to get crowdfunding support to his pet project while no animation has actually been made aside from a really short teaser and the creator having to learn blender to make the whole pilot from scratch.


Could you tell this is for a pilot to an animated series?

They also aren't aware that the people calling for ever-more diversity have transparent and ulterior motives to say that and be SEEN saying that, and little to no interest at all in actually BUYING the product once it's been properly diversified. To them, the victory condition is wokeshit on the store shelf, not actually owning it or watching it at home.

I’m not sure they got rid of Jack Chick, since he was 92 when he died.
Naturally I suspect murder, but it could be that hacker on steroids called “old age“ that did him in.
