There's actually a lot of conspiracy theories about Hasbro sabotaging things trying to rid themselves of the basement dweller menace before they eventually caved and decided to milk the neckbeards instead.
Shit like the bizarre circumstances of Lauren Faust's departure and budget cuts to fund the dreaded Equestria Girls.
Ignoring it or putting some effort into burying it in the underground from the start would have been the smart move. Whoever at Hasbro thought it was a good idea to give those cons official status should have been fired and Lauren Faust deserves the ghost of Brony haunting her to this day. A show ends, autism doesn't, this is her Frankestein monster.

What really blows my mind is that cap-shit cartoons back in the 90s/early 2000 legit had more mature writing/themes/concepts then anything the current crops is producing:

Off the top of my head:
There was a whole episode where Batman(with amnesia after getting hit on the head under cover) is forced to work as slave labor in a mine. No cape, no suit, no Joker, just hard time forced to do labor.
Batman gets robot cloned and the robot truly thinks it is Bruce while slowly loosing its mind until it takes its face off to revival it's robot skull.
Superman forced to say goodbye to everything he ever wanted (including a son) . Bonus: Bruce get to watch his dad fight off the mugger only to get murdered again.
Lex saves the universe from a robot that evolved into a god by to sack up and find it's own purpose in life.

Even aimed at kids the shows doesn't talk down about death and loss.

Is this true?

I generally think walrusguy is cool and I've enjoyed the interviews I've heard from him but man do I hate this "well I know more but I won't say cuz reasons" attitude. You can't have your cake and eat it too, either drop your accusations with sources or shut up entirely and stop trying to act in-the-know for clout. Shit or get off the pot.

This guy's face so reminds me of that faggot from the documentary about living in an open relationship that Jim watched on stream once. Seems being the living incarnation of a soyjak correlates with having a deeply fucked up home life, invariably involving a lot of cuckery.

>Making the literal dog a black girl obsessed with food

My sides. Are they going to show her loving fried chicken in her debut?
While we're at it, there would be a cat with muslim beliefs, Dastardly would be portrayed like a typical right-wing rich man and Captain Caveman would be portrayed as a fat loser slob similar to Boogie, Wings, Moviebob, Goldmark and Quinton.

The possibilities of making Velma much worse are endless.

I'm assuming that her voice is going to be like Scooby's so she'll talk in an unintelligable jibber jabber like Grandma from Rapsitte Street.

In a way though I'm suprised at least another company hasn't tried emulating the formula, some people say it was lightning in a bottle but really it seems like it's just a western take on the anime slice of life genre, the 'cute girls doing cute things' subgenre specfically.

Bronies are exactly the same demographic who like that sort of anime (Shows like Nichijou - My Ordinary Life, Azumanga Dioh, Lucky Star and so on).

The obvious reason is probally they don't want man children and (MtF wo)man children troons as a major demographic, more so the first group but they're really one in the same.

But for many 'woke' shows it seems like it's the final destination anyway, just get rid of all the male characters aside form maybe a token one and make the majority of the cast psudeo lesbians to appease the fanbase, for example not a cartoon but I bet the fanbase for Wednesday would be a whole lot more rabid if she had moved to an all female boarding school.
