I should point out the original character was supposed to be an anthropomorphic dog.

They should have gotten a dog to do the voice.

That would be a good way to meet in the middle. I’ve primarily seen Hispanics with Betty Boop merch like shirts/ car decals. I think I’ve even heard of them having festivals for her as well for some reason.
