It's funny because in the same video he brings up Ben Shapiro as part of the alt-right pipeline. I mean I guess if you have zero exposure to right-wing politics you might start there, but no-one "alt-right" likes Shapiro.

Personally, I don't watch card because he knows what he's talking about. I do it because no matter what he's talking about, he does it with the same sublime mixture of innocent naivety and smug confidence that only the most pure uncontaminated autistic dogmatism can provide.

I've never gotten the smug vibe from him. I think he's someone that has very strong political beliefs, but also has a sense of manners that holds him back from voicing them in the obnoxious way that a lot of activists do.

The fact that he's so careful about his choice of words makes it extra impactful when he makes videos such as the one about the unamed 'horse-pedophile'.

This is actually his first entertaining video. I legitimately can't tell if he's seriously calling out Josh or not. Also despite claiming otherwise, his "acting" actually had me convinced that, while he is a long time leftist community organizer, he also detests manchildren who watch my little pony and sonic the hedgehog. It would not surprise me in the least, if these were his real opinions that he actually held.

His line at the start where he pulls out his wallet was legitimately funny ‘Here’s my wallet, it’s empty because I’ve been a lifelong community organizer in leftist spaces’.
Card has a good sense of humor, especially about himself, that’s something a lot of people lack.
