Well we're down to 5 cars. Everything runs and Mrs took the money on the sale of her daily to buy a turbo kit... now I have zero excuse to not boost the Sexus.

@Dean Pentel , I did say I'll get Elise pictures, but lifes been very messy and rough. Thankfully things are settling but wife was in hospital for a few days she got hurt at work.

Buddy traded in for a new CTS-V fuck it's fast. Now I need that Viper I've been eying, I refuse to let him have a cooler car just because he's single and makes more.

Trying to make my mind up to either keep my winter steelies for the Honda and do the normal paint it something horrible for the lulz or snag some BMW bottle caps locally, swap the logo for the H's on the steelies.

Family over all else, always. The Elise isn't going anywhere.

And good for your friend picking up a CTS-V. "An iron fist in a velvet glove." I think those things are badass.

It's been called the crotch vent, the ball chiller, the gooch cooler. I now present to you the official 1992 Mazda designation straight out of my B2200 owners manual.

THE LAP LOUVER

I had to look through my owner's manuals to see what it was called, if mentioned at all. Perhaps unsurprisingly it's called lap louver in the RX7 manual as well.

Wouldn't be surprised haha, especially since the B2000/B2200s interiors were pretty much just a modified version of the first gen RX7s

I just bought one of these. A 1937 Austin Ten. My first classic. I’m very much looking forward to it!

(For the Yanks) What car is this interior from? It could be Italian. It could also not be Swedish.

Gen 1 Renault Twingo... what a cute looking car. I know a dude from France who drives this to the military base when he's not stationed elsewhere. Poor thing recently had a little blow out from the head gasket and it's been stuck in the garage since then.

I'm quite surprised that it's still going somewhat despite the age of it. Finding good enough parts for it can't be easy.

Bless him for keeping it going. It's one of those cars that'll go missing one day. Some day someone will will look of into the distance, and say - when is the last time you've seen a... and it's going to be a Twingo. So many other mundane cars as well.

Renault twingo
Was just gonna say that, but didn’t want to say Twingo in case I was wrong. Definitely a Renault. It’d be the perfect car to redo the carpet with one of those extra large children’s road map rugs that everyone had for a period in their childhood until it mysteriously disappeared, as quickly as it arrived.

So general motors official tiktok posted this. Its a video where a bunch of women stand in front of a camera, and this lady says, to the camera, "and these are the people who follow us who say in the comments "bring back pontiac," moving on". With the description saying "you know we make other cars, right?"

Such a disgrace to such a great brand, just piss on the corpse of pontiac, or Holden, Oldsmobile, Saab, Saturn, etc, etc.

Whats the beater from the music video featured on the home page right now? I kinda like how it looks.

Yo nigga I approve. Got a friend with a 3000 Healy.

I'll get the Elise clean and some pics, Mrs Basso is healing up quickly, and mix of her hating me watching over her and wanting me to do it. She bought a turbo kit so the Sexus is on the lift and getting bewst.

Life hack, get a hot wife into cars, who buys car parts on painkillers.

So unrelated my Dad's car had some problems apparently the owner of the place he had service was cheaping and swapping parts... had a battery die from 23 and former employee said probably came from a wreck or something or.... stole stamp. It's a shame I actually really enjoy his ride.

I gotta say my biggest gripe, rear springs and shocks are cartoons. So weak. I mean it's a stock WRX with just a crank pulley so maybe 5 whp more... banging 1-2 shift the whole rear jumps inches...

Nissan will be selling, and then leasing back their Yokohama HQ. / Archive

Nissan Motor has concluded a 97 billion yen ($643 million) deal to sell and lease back its global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, as part of its business restructuring plans, the automaker said on Thursday.

Nissan expects to book about 73.9 billion yen in extraordinary income from the deal in the current fiscal year running through March 2026, it said in a disclosure.

The buyer of the trust beneficiary rights of land and building is an entity named MJI Godo Kaisha, and the 20-year lease agreement is with Mizuho Trust & Banking, Nissan said. It did not give an amount for the lease payment, saying the buyer of the property did not want it disclosed.

A special purpose company sponsored by Hong Kong-listed auto parts maker Minth Group and led by a unit of private equity firm KKR & Co bought the Nissan assets for 90 billion yen, Bloomberg News reported earlier.

KKR was the leading candidate to buy Nissan's Yokohama headquarters after submitting the highest bid, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters in August.

Nissan will announce its earnings for the half-year through September later on Thursday.

This is getting more and more dire for them, as I don't know how often this is a thing with businesses.

Is the Polaris Slingshot a car or motorcycle?

Is it weird I kinda want one? I probably shouldn't though, it's got real storage capacity, I couldn't actually *use* it for much.
