Honestly working an n54 would be better than working on an EVI'd rather work on that than an EV.
Disagree. EV would just be body and suspension work. If a fast tesla was affordable, I'd be tempted to grab one for my daily and put an adro kit on it.Honestly working an n54 would be better than working on an EV
For a daily a tesla would be great. I know people who have a tesla for the daily and a performance car for the weekendDisagree. EV would just be body and suspension work. If a fast tesla was affordable, I'd be tempted to grab one for my daily and put an adro kit on it.
EV for puttering around town is fine. Thing is most, if not all that are under 100k suck to look at and suck even more to work on in the event there's an electrical problem. I drove a BMW i4 and that thing scoots and doesn't feel like a Fisher Price toy inside like a Tesla 3 does. For a daily a tesla would be great. The interior of a tesla and how badly it degrades is the other reason I don't get one. Watched a review of one that had 50k miles and uh, woof.EV for puttering around town is fine. The year of the car is the amazing '49 Ford. 50s had the same grille but the multi-color Ford badge instead.View attachment 5926949
Ann Blyth standing/flexing on a Ford on set. Year unknown. I love those whitewalls.

Working on EVs is easy, you have your wife's boyfriend do it for you because he's the only one who stands to pee in the trouple your in.Honestly working an n54 would be better than working on an EV
I'd wager yeah it's your pcv could be fucking with idle.View attachment 5930250
Going to blow my fucking brains out. I can't figure this out. Replaced the G410 sensor, hpfp should be fine, it has a new lpfp, I know it needs a pcv so maybe that's causing everything.
Check your high and low fuel trims if it's really your PCV acting up.View attachment 5930250

It's all fun and games until you accidentally bridge the wrong points with your ratchet and now your family is burying a charcoal briquette.Disagree. EV would just be body and suspension work. If a fast tesla was affordable, I'd be tempted to grab one for my daily and put an adro kit on it.
I'm trying to find a mechanic to replace it. I bought all the parts for my current mech but he seems to be flakey atm (irl issues) and I'd really rather not pay someone else to do it, and not use my parts because wtf do I do with a new pcv, pump, gaskets, etc. etc. etc. Bleh.I'd wager yeah it's your pcv could be fucking with idle.
>He doesn't have big enough cam(s) he needs a high idle. NGMI
7 speed... manual? What's that pattern like?Bought what will probably be (given the way the world is going) my last new ICE car last week, a VW Polo GTI. The 7 speed and extra horsepower over my previous GTI are a noticeable improvement but holy shit when did logging into your car and it downloading patches OTA become a thing?
Flappy paddle automatic, previous one was a 6 speed auto that had a little bit of lag stock although nothing that couldn't be remapped out.7 speed... manual? What's that pattern like?

Honestly, at this point, a ranger is the best bet for our dear feeder. If he wound up living near me I'd offer to help him learn to work on his truck and use my lift, I already have a few friends who do so enough that they helped me pay for said lift. Used tacomas are way too expensive, they aren't worth the premium. You can almost buy two rangers for the price of tacoma in equivalent condition. Rangers are reliable, easy to work on and find parts for. The later OHC V6s aren't as trouble free as a toyota V6, but the 4cyls are basically unkillable. 4.0 OHVs crack heads sometimes but last forever regardless. V8 dakotas are cool but they're more prone to transmission problems and are rare. They suggested a 4Runner, Tacoma , Ford Ranger, and a Dakota lmao
