Ok, I need help with wheel brands. I need wheels in 5x112, 19x10 or 19x9.5 and under 28lbs or so. From what I can find, the forming method I'm looking for is flow form / rotary form / whatever brand name here. But, my budget is rather smol, 1500-3k USD. LESS IS MORE, obviously.

I am so confused on who makes decent wheels. HRE, Vorsteiner, and Rohana are really the only ones I can seem to nail down as "good". I'm looking for a mesh wheel and a 5 or 6 spoke option.

Part of me thinks that if it's flow formed it's all good, but maybe companies like ESR cheap out on the mat or the method?
Yeah, ESR & Rohana are reps, you don't want to touch that shit, let alone put that much money on crappy replicas.

The "THIS NIGGA ON REPS YALL" Facebook group is full of wheel nerds and good info if you're serious about wheel brands.

wheelfags drive me nuts, but I think it’s because they’re usually also stancefags. I like performance not hard parking. I had XXRs on my FC and the tires cost more than the wheels. When I bought it it had the most hideous set of ricer wheels on it and I didn’t feel like spending what I paid for the car on wheels so I bought a set of the cheapest wheels that looked good on it and a set of Z1 star specs. It eventually had ohlins dampers and R888Rs and still had those $100/ea wheels.

My snows are on Focals and that pyramid tells me what I expected to find: They're cheap.

Fortunately I care not what stancefags and niggers think of my wheels. They're round, they haven't dented, they hold the car up and the tires on. The one time someone's slobbered over my 'really cool looking car' was while they were on, too. Enh.

>I like performance
>Argue on getting cheaply made chinese wheels

Reptard logic, atleast on some stance build you're not putting yourself in danger running these shits

I don't really care about reps style, I care about the quality. 5x112 is a pita to find shit for. That pyramid is mostly for japanese stuff, unfortunatly. Still a decent place to start.
Though, I'm surprised at Rohana being a "rep" brand, seeing as they're similar to HREs in price. Not to mention, I've not heard Enkei used in a good light w/ their modern wheels being made in mysterious places.

Mad that I spent money on actual performance parts and track days instead of bling.

FWIW I had one off when I owned that car and bent one $100 wheel when it dug in and hit the edge of the track. Would have done the same to literally any wheel. stancefags will sperg about how unsafe a cheap wheel is then debead a tire or bottom out their suspension on a small bump. I didn’t argue that they’re just as good my point is that wheelfags are insufferable and will sperg the fuck out about wheels and they’re completely fine for normal use, just won’t hold up to the same abuse or last as long. The heavy ones like those XXRs are also pretty damn safe because they have a bunch of extra material vs the lightest possible wheel for the material

I drove a Dodge Charger SRT today. I HATE that car. One tap on the gas pedal, the car accelerates like nothing. The body is too wide for a sedan. I see why people want the car as an excuse to GO FAST; it's gaudy. Car guys can probably explain it better than me.

You sound european. The problem is it's an old merc underneath and the interior is pretty meh.

The Charger is the last big, affordable American sedan (not counting the offerings from Cadillac and Lincoln) and like mentioned above it's chassis is from a 90s era E class. Despite its refined roots from a Benz, Dodge has changed the car and now it unfortunately caters to the nigger market. It will be curious to see what kind of demographic the new EV version will attract.

Which is a bummer, because the charger is a very cool car. If the good ones were more affordable, I'd have gotten one instead of the audi.
IIRC tho, you can get a police one that is a v8 and awd...that's tempting.

Don't the former police editions have messed up interiors and missing panels to fit all the police radio gear and accessories? I would get annoyed by that if it were my daily driver.

Probably, but fixable. It's not like the normal ones are exactly nice. But the fact you can't get an awd v8 charger would make it worth it.
