Does anyone like the Foxbody Mustangs, I think they're nice.

I truly hate car shopping. I'm not a car guy and I don't have a preference for brand ect. But I've gotta get a "new" i.e used car soon because my previous got totalled.

What's some tips for shopping around?

Only things I'm actually looking for are decent mileage so probably a 4 cylinder, and that it's not gonna just shit out on me after another 100k miles. Also not looking at anything over 15-20k

Last 2 vehicles were Chevy Cruzes.

Speaking of car trends we don't understand I'm going to go in reverse. What is it about the Nissan 300zx that made it the most forgettable of the 90s Japanese sports cars? I mean I guess it's more memorable than the Mitsubishi 3000GT, but I feel like no one really talks about these things.

The NA cars had forgettable performance and the TTs didn’t sell in huge numbers and are awful to work on. Same goes for 3000GTs honestly, the only ones worth even considering are the turbo cars and they’re terribly cramped to work on and fairly uncommon. Plus, Nissan and Mitsubishi aren’t known for their quality. I love classic Zs and Mitsubishi’s Starion and AWD turbo cars but they’re all junk. Rust prone, poor quality interiors…

They sort of have cult followings since the turbo model was marketed to compete with the Supra and R34 GTR. Nissan really screwed the pooch with the botched marketing and release of their new Z though. It also looks like shit. Parts are also hard to come by as Nissan is terrible about long term support.

I think it's because both of those cars are fucking miserable to drive.

No. I've driven a quite nice and almost all-orignal TT Z32 (I've never driven an NA), they are nice drivers, even stock. They're more of a GT than a sports car, but they're easily comparable to the lauded MKIV Supra which is not worth the hype at all considering how close it is to the un-hyped Z32 and are all around a good chassis. I'm convinced the only thing that kept Z32s from being as popular in the aftermarket is the fact that they are absolute hell in the engine bay. They were a glimpse into the future of crammed engine bays that are incredibly shitty to work in. I have not driven a 3000GT, but I have driven a modified Stealth which is basically the same car. It was a craigslist find and typical to DSM the interior was much nicer to look at from a distance than to interact with, but it was a very fast car and I couldn't tell if it was too much attention to the straight line and a neglected chassis or just how they were but it just didn't impress from a steering standpoint.

Fox mustangs were great when they were cheap. The late hatchbacks are great looking cars, the earlies are just fugly, at least the G-body pulled that look off with the quad rectangle headlights. Event the show quality Foxes I see these days reveal just how awful the interior was compared to even mid-range cars of the era such as E30s, Supras and Z31 300ZXs. Any fox interior that isn't black on black is just glaringly cheap looking, the black at least hides it a bit, the two-tones are nauseating. But at least they aren't SN95 interiors I guess.

Traction control?
I get the feeling this is causing me more trouble than it's worth. I have about 450hp and when I mash the throttle and break the rear wheels loose I feel the car turn sharply to one direction when I'm otherwise in a strait-away, wheels fully strait on even pavement.

EDIT: solid rear axle with brand new Pirellis

I remember the Z32 quite fondly. Its ride and handling were pretty well-judged for what was really a budget GT car and the interior was not a terrible place to be.
Maybe they work better in America where the roads aren't horrible and you consistently need to do long distance. MK4 Supras don't work here either.

Z32 wasn't really a budget GT car. For the first model year the base NA version stickered for around 23k usd while the base twin turbo was 27k usd. Adjusted for inflation today that's 56k and 66k today. During the latter half the Z32 went up in price with the 1997 base NA version stickering for 25.5k usd and base twin turbo for 33k usd. For inflation that's 62k and 80k usd in 2023. It's about on par with the current Supra/Z4 pricing.

3.0 Supras are ~$60k but I don't think even a loaded Z4 is $80k. I don't remember Z32s being that expensive but if they were it explains why they didn't sell very well at the end, similar to how supras didn't.

For some reason I thought the Z4 can be kitted out to 80k. Looks like you're right. A fully loaded Z4 m40i tops out just shy of 75k.

Working on a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT yesterday, needed to remove a lock cylinder to generate a new key, it was my choice to pull the door panel or go for the trunk lock. I'm halfway to the trunk lock cylinder, have a plastic shroud off a few 10mms and plastic retainers , guy comes over to the car, starts freaking out yelling "you broke my car you broke my car"! I ask him "what is broken"? he proceeds to slam his hand down on the plastic shroud covering the inside of the trunk. After about 10 minutes of him complaining I tell him he could either pay me for my time and I'll put it all back together in 10 mins or I could complete the job, he refuses to pay anything so I send him on his way with his trunk latch assembly completely disassembled.

Jersh is planning on getting a GMC Sierra in Serbia 🇷🇸, either Diesel or Gasoline.
Personally I'd go for a Toyota but a GMC ain't bad

My Huandai XG350 is getting its crankshaft sensor replaced, which should fix this stall problem it's been having.

Your problem is your clientele. You should shoot for the drug dealers instead of the drug users.
