The morning cars and coffee tend to be the better meets. Early mornings weed out the miscreants you see at night meets. It's pretty fun talking to the older crowd and there's a lot less bullshittery.

Shitheads don't tend to be morning people, I've discovered.

That said, I get a few positive comments and questions about my car, despite it being bone ass stock and not particularly exclusive when I go to the morning C&Cs.
 
The local C&C here is too far for my lazy ass to go, never did it I have a long beef with "meets" but I digress.

So my buddy who I got the SC300 off, just got a ATSV, fuck him with a rake. His buy was mostly my doing as he rode in my ATS work car a few times and fell in love Now for legal reason I can't say I let him drive my old work car.. but well. It had the V suspension and brakes.. But the V has 460+ HP I can't wait to drive it also the seats look amazing.
 
The Cars and Coffee here is essentially run by the Mormon temple near the diner. It's honestly a good thing, everyone is very nice, the cars are pretty cool and the offroad crew uses it as a starting point for trail rides. 10/10 wholesome and my wife and kids like it a lot

Completely agree on the night meets. I felt like I was going to get stabbed by a meth head jeep guy or get run over by one of the junkies on minibikes.
 
I'm literally shaking and crying over what is the worst act of vandalism I've ever seen committed against an automobile.

I don't even have much passion for Ferraris, but why would anyone do this? In such a high-profile vehicle, isn't the suspension specifically tuned to perfectly match the inertia and distribution of mass of the engine?

I think electric cars are neat but I'd much rather do a sleeper build, like a classic bug or a dodge Daytona or a Geo tracker. Literally anything other than 6 figure icon, a piece of art, even if I'm not as crazy about it as other people.

I know a Picasso is important culturally, but I'm not much of one for art. If someone edited a Picasso I'm sure people would be furious

True. There are plenty of other classic cars that I would have no problem with being EV converted. In fact there are some that I reckon would be improved, such as the DeLorean. There's one car that's crying out for a drivetrain to match its looks and cult status, and if money was no object I'd buy a DeLorean for an EV conversion in a heartbeat.

I'm okay with it because I like the portmandu of Teslarossa. But if I cared about Italian shit I'd probably be 100% with you
 
I am having this struggle: When you search and ask for a spare and never find it because you do not know how it is called, and even with a photo the person still does not know what are you talking about.

Case in point: this fucking hose for the powerbrake and the connector of my ka, I broke it sometime ago from the manifold and can not be inserted as it should, so locktite is it then in the meantime, but I have been searching it for about a year and I can not find it since those damn parts are somewhat rare nowadays thanks to all Fiesta fags.

Parts store guys aren't paid enough to be knowledgeable. You're lucky to find a mechanic that you don't have to babysit. I go through so much hand holding with mine to the point where it's barely worth it anymore

Oh, that would be nice! It is a Ka 2000 1.3, idk if the one sold here was different from the one sold around the world. A junkyard dude told us that people here try to hunt down both Kas and Fiestas from the 97-00's since the engine on those cars is the same until 2002, and because they are becoming rather popular.
