That's been their M.O. since the 90's. Every VS game pre MvC3 re-uses the Alpha sprites for the street fighter crew. The Darkstalkers gang has never received a new set of sprites (at least ones made by Capcom themselves... SNK made a new one for Dimitri in SVC Chaos) since their first appearance. CVS2 (and 1) is another one that has Alpha sprites and they clash with the newly drawn ones. It got to the point that by the time Capcom Fighting Evolution came out, the sprites were getting faded and crusty due to overuse.
Yeah, it doesn't bother me but a lot of Capcom fighting games sprites do clash like crazy. Sometimes I don't know where they're re-used from but you can tell they don't look like they're part of the same game. The most obvious one is probably Roll, in MvC2 she almost looks like an SNES sprite while everyone else looks hyperdetailed (especially the Marvel characters, presumably because they had no existing sprites to use for them). Although I'm not sure what she's actually from.

Speaking of her in MvC2, I was playing it recently and I remember hearing that she has some panty shots under certain circumstances but I didn't see anything like that. I'm guessing the game was censored in the Marvel Fighting Collection (at least on Switch, it's the version I played), unless it's a blink and you miss it moment. I don't care if that was censored, but it does make me wonder what else might've been.

How’s the new Shinobi game?

Edit: I’m retarded and forgot that was Sega’s IP.
For some reason I mix up Capcom and Sega a bit too, albeit very rarely. Not sure why, they aren't that similar.

Is something going on with Mega Man?

I keep getting a bunch of Mega Man videos sent my way by the algorithm but I don't know why as I haven't given a shit about Mega Man for at least 20 years now.

resident evil 5 is a fucking blast. how they did a game where a dude and his ebony goddess kill a bunch of niggers? how the hell that got aproved

How terminally online do you have to be to know this? You would never "pick up on a homesexual undercurrent" if you just played the game without this knowledge. Imagine going into Japanese court drama and expecting two dudes to fuck at the end lmfao
I missed this for awhile, but unfortunately @capitalBBustard is kind of correct about there being quasi-official bait. To give an example, back during this year's Valentine's Day the US Twitter account for AA posted this:

What they did was deliberately leave out the artist's explanation that it was Wendy Oldbag's dream version of Edgeworth. Hence why it has an eggplant and her inside the bouquet. Comments were primarily, well, of this kind:

Capcom fandoms are cancer and they encourage it, basically.

Unpopular opinion, but Maximo is a great series and I’m glad that this never received another game in its installment.

Had a bug up my ass and went looking to see if Megaman 9 and 10 were on Steam or part of a collection. Nothing. The two games weren't even re-released. This is just another example of how stupid Capcom can be. Jap game devs love leaving money on the table like that.

Yeah, I really hate that tendency too. Although there's some understandable exceptions (mainly licensed games), it makes no sense in this day and age not to just upload some ROMs and make a little extra money while satisfying fans.

It's not just unpopular/niche games that get left out (RIP to old mobile games, we're never seeing 99.99% of those ever again) either, literally every old mainline Pokemon game has been unavailable for the entirety of the Switch's life and probably will be for most of Switch 2's (if not all of it). It's just nuts.

Inevitable, but still, finally. It's been so long since I played the Star Force series that I don't remember a ton about them, except the first one.

She's a straight port from Marvel Vs Capcom 1.
I guess that helps explain it then.

Anything on the Mega Man Star Force Collection or Pragmata?
Some gameplay for Pragmata showing more aspects of the whole pipe puzzle attacking thing and some cute Diana moments. More details on Star Force than the prior trailer but it's all pretty expected. Upgraded visuals, difficulty settings, all chips available, ranked multiplayer, art and music gallery.
