Canada May Start Euthanizing Babies​

Canada’s medical assistance in dying program, (MAID) already one of the world’s most permissive euthanasia regimes, may soon extend to disabled newborns.

That possibility is reigniting horror among pro-life advocates who warn of a slippery slope toward eugenics.

The Quebec College of Physicians recently told the British newspaper Daily Mail that it believes “medical assistance in dying may be an appropriate treatment for babies suffering from extreme pain” and that “parents should have the opportunity to obtain this care for their infant,” according to an article by Anna Farrow published in the Western Standard.

The statement revives a debate that first erupted in 2022 when Louis Roy of the Quebec College of Physicians appeared before Parliament’s Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying. Roy suggested the program could be considered for “babies from birth to one year of age” who are born with severe deformities or disabilities, Farrow reported.


Public backlash was swift.


On CBC Radio, Liberal Disabilities Minister Carla Qualtrough responded, “There is no world where I would accept that,” Farrow wrote.


Pro-life groups assumed the idea was shelved, but international media coverage in September brought it back into focus. A feature in The Atlantic headlined “Canada is Killing Itself” compared Roy’s proposal to Nazi Germany policies, sparking outrage from euthanasia supporters.


“Most Canadians disagree strongly with the concept of euthanasia for babies,” Farrow wrote. “We know this because every time the topic comes up, the public’s response is one of instant horror. So why does it keep coming up?”


Canada’s euthanasia law, legalized in 2016, has seen rapid expansion.


In 2024 alone, there were 16,499 reported euthanasia deaths, bringing the total to 76,475 by year’s end, according to government data cited by Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition. By early 2026, Schadenberg estimated at least 94,000 deaths since legalization.

using infanticide to cull defective specimens? based, but i don't trust the jeet loving canada government to do it properly so this is probably going to turn out really bad.
 
It isn't eugenics, because then it would imply that it is done to somehow "improve" the population. It is genocide, because it is meant to save money that would be spent on disabled natives to instead go towards immigrants who will work for slave wages.
 
You can bet your ass you'll have a Jeet doctor look at a white baby that is healthy and tell them "Saar, this baby has defect. I recommend MAID. Good service Saar. Yis."
 
On the one hand, this would be a boon for the parents of seriously disabled children, who have zero hope for the future and will never lead a life without needing constant care.
On the other hand, we all know this is an incredibly steep slippery slope that will lead to even more unwanted babies being destroyed. Late term abortion of any other name.
I'm pro-choice but I think abortion should be an uncommon, last solution and not birthcontrol, like so many people seem to see it as.
 
I mean if they're so fucked up that they're going to die in a few hours and every waking breath is agony I get it. Anyone have the link to that article a doctor wrote, I think about when he was student doctor in the 60s; there was a baby like that, and everyone in the hospital just wished they could put it out of it's misery, but they just had to let it starve to death. I think it's been posted in the Tard Baby thread or some other genetic fuck up thread.

Anyway, the fact that they'll not just use it on cases like that is the issue.
 
that's stupid as fuck.

im still pro choice but this is the point where they're born, this violates their consent at this point. just put them into adoption if you dont want a disabled kid. better yet, dont breed if you dont want to risk your child not being healthy, go adopt one of the many kids in the system. you get a kid regardless. if its something like 0 quality of life kids in constant pain who are going to die within x amount of days/months/couple of years anyway then i can see it, but past that, i can really see this being abused for, say, down syndrome kids that are otherwise going to be OK, maybe with a bit of support in some cases.

of course, this probably also means they'll probably just start euthanizing people in the adoption system next, knowing their luck.

Only Whites aren't racist, and lack a strong in-group. It's obvious that the Jeet "doctors" will deliberately spare their own race's defective kids, While Whites suffer the most, either though malpractice by Jeets or White doctors advocating for it. Without said White doctors understanding only their race is suffering.

Ordinarily, I would say fewer Canadians can only be a good thing.

Then I remember that the Canadian government will happily replace their own people with chinks and jeets.
