Meanwhile, there's at least one of the "land claims" being made by the "Komox Band", except none of them are "Komox", they're the descendants of whichever coastal tribe murdered and enslaved the actual Komox, and most of BC is a mish-mash of competing claims between tribes, If the feather Indians want to to make a claim on the areas invaded by the chinks and the jeets so they can kick them all the fuck out, they'll get a ton of support from everyone, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of these "tribes" are backed by China or other nations as part of a bid to take over Canadian land.

What's not discussed a lot is these sorts of moves get major pushback the media quietly ignores (the Syrian refugees are a key example: I've heard lots of fun stories about that involving schools). Calgary Herald tangentially identifies the outrage pretty well because the duplicitous CBE wording is obvious amidst the journoscum sweeping. I really wonder why the majority of people ignored the teachers union complaints about being forced back to work earlier, definitely a headscratcher.

Everyone is largely in a holding pattern until some sort of Supreme Court ruling comes out. The chugs are pushing the initial Richmond ruling for all it's worth in the meantime (since Eby is a spineless faggot and is slow walking any provincial resolution), but if the final verdict is they have a right to make and enforce these claims it won't take long before you see dead chugs and Oka 2.0. The average rural BC resident isn't going to meekly allow their house being taken away from them, full stop. I'd also recommend anyone thinking it :optimistic: worthy to read a bit on Oka and some of the backlash witnessed - the vitriol the average person has for chugs ensures a violent reaction should the chugs start getting ideas about controlling private property lying outside of established reserves.

Why take the house, or the farm, or whatever? Just add a rent to it. "This is our land, but we'll let you keep it so long as you fork over some cash." Saves the natives from having to actually have people removed, and then having to actually work it or sell it. It'll just be another source of income for the natives like the welfare.

Because that's never how it plays out with the chug. A lot of them, whether from being drunk, clinically retarded, or a combination of the two, like to play a lot of fuck fuck games with anyone stupid enough to lease on their land. They will pull your lease out from under you without warning, they will do so for no other reason than they can (or think it'll somehow get them more rent money in the long run). I mentioned it in this thread but a friend had this happen to her place on the Sunshine coast. Chugs there decided they could rent her place out better than she could and told her to either sell (at a loss) or have them take it anyway.

That lease is a permanent sword hanging over your head because what the one band council told you will guaranteed be wholly at odds with what its successors say, or even what they think come tomorrow morning.

Aside from the fact that natives want to have their cake and eat it too, if more of BC reverts to native ownership is there anything legally stopping them from declaring themselves a sovereign nation independent from Canada? Or from signing a treaty with China or Russia where in exchange for gobs of money China can build a factory or Russia could build an army base?

Funny enough I've never even met a Mexican person at all when I was living in Canada for most of my life. I love how he goes over every topic in this video yet ignores government and private sector jobs blatantly telling Caucasians not to apply. White on White racism is pretty common in Canada too, yet no mention of that. Go to "diverse" downtown Toronto and look for a group of "diverse" friends hanging out. Weirdly enough Canada is actually one of the less diverse western countries, but not in a good way. Obviously there's the brown tide with the jeets, but even ignoring that, the amount of ethnic enclaves is insane. The funniest stat I remember seeing is that because of all the ethnic enclaves, Canada has a comparable loneliness rate as chink countries like China and Japan. Mass immigration in general is pretty bad, but other countries at least pretend to be genuinely diverse for propaganda purposes, Canada is just New Bharat

Honestly calling Canadians "reactionary" is a great way of putting it. Left-wing liberalism IS the political standard in this country, so Canadians might be the most reactionary people on earth despite reactionary movements usually being associated with more right wing ones. The amount of hatred towards even the smallest forms of change within the country and it's government is immense. I think it's a good move personally. I understand why he wouldn't have done it during the election, since it was peak TDS in Canada at that time, but there's no reason he shouldn't go on there. Especially since libs and Redditors will hate him anyways.

For all of PP's faults I do think he is genuine, at least as much as a politician can be.
