Apparently 120% of BC's land is being claimed as native land (the 20% is due to overlapping claims, the number didn't specify if it was 100% of all BC land in total)

Cool, cool, they want to assert claims that were already dealt with via treaties, it sounds like they're the gov't, and the people should expect transparency and financial accountability of their gov't, so those wagon-burning fucks better start opening their tribal books for audits.

I'm young enough to have experienced the new-age modern Canada highschool experience and I still remember just how bad it all was. Teachers get summer breaks, spring breaks, winter breaks, and on top of that I still vividly recall the strikes they'd call every few months that would give them even more time off to wave signs on the side of the road while stuffing their faces with Timbits, all the while assigning useless garbage to keep the kids busy with. "Native Studies" was a mandatory course to graduate... you had to dedicate an entire highschool semester of your time to groveling at how evil the colonizers were. Our schools are run by incompetent lazy morons who don't care about you or your children's education.

Technically most of BC isn't covered by a treaty. Neither is Quebec but they'll actually fight land claims.
