Look on the bright side. If that bloated pedophile David Lametti was still Justice Minister, Generals Singh and Chang would happily give him a tank unit to slaughter a bunch of White people, unlike when he tried to do so during the convoy protests and was told by our military to fuck off. Thankfully David Lametti (a treasonous, ugly, gross pedophile), is no longer the Justice Minister, so he'll never be able to do that.

Every day, I'm somehow surprised by the dumb shit this country gets up to. You'd think by this point I'd be numb to it.

Still don't have the money to leave, so I'm just stuck watching/living through the slow collapse. If I had to put money on it, I think Canada eventually becomes a US Territory, not by way of Invasion, but by way of Uncle Sam not appreciating having a largely unsecured land border that large with a Failed State and just deciding to Tard Wrangle us.

I think you better go back and look at how the Australians responded to covid, they had drones flying around parks and recording 'law breakers" who were trying to enjoy some fresh air during the lockdown shit. This place is fucked to be sure, but the UK and Australia are infinitely more fucked and cucked (for now anyways) Also if you think Chinese interference is bad here? Australia is basically owned by China from what I've seen. Hey, at least they got warmer weather though.

I can't help but notice the letter was about Ukranian evacuees. Holhol vs Vatnik debate aside she wanted more white intelligent immigrants, not shit skinned subhumans.

Immigration is very good pr for these people both being against it and demanding more of it.

Not sure if GDP is the best way to measure a country's economy, but this means that Canada can't even use the whole "but GDP is up" argument that other western countries use to defend mass immigration (not that it's a good argument in the first place, but funny how Canada is too shit to even use bad arguments to defend it)

No she didn't, the Ukrainian's are separate from the "economic" (Indian) immigrants she's begging Trudeau for.

In the letter she's asking for Alberta to get 20 thousand economic immigrants per year, the Ukranians are an afterthought so she can get 10 thousand more immigrant spots.

Alberta requests a further 10,000 allocations for Ukrainian evacuees, in addition to the 20,000 the province is already seeking for economic needs.

I'm well-aware of how the Maritimes are talked up as a cultural extension of New England, but I'd be curious if that's seen as a historical thing nowadays and they see themselves as a separate region, or if it's still very much true in the present.

The Maritimes is the part of Canada that's the most ancient in terms of European settlement. Initially colonized by the French, then taken by the British, and later home to many of the American Loyalists that fled northward following the American War of Independence.

You can find the descendants of these three major ethnic groups all over the Maritimes in different concentrations. I think the people that descended from the Loyalists are the most similar to those of New England, since they come from the same period of colonization and made from the same group, but other ethnic groups like the Scots and Acadians are different in terms of culture, values, and beliefs.

Nova Scotia, the most populous province of the Maritimes, is literally "New Scotland" to America's New England region.

A lot of people from the Maritimes, in my experience, report feeling a certain distinctness from Canadians westward. They will still consider themselves Canadians, naturally, but they're aware that their way of life is different from those in Toronto, or Calgary, or Vancouver. Perhaps some of this distinctness is economic in nature, as the Maritimes have long been economically stagnant and home to much white trash.
 
I was thinking about the whole #resistamerikkka LARP Canadians love doing and I realized something funny. Even ignoring how Canadians want to ban guns, Canada wouldn't even allow any other piece of modern equipment like armored vehicles since they "create too much CO2" (which is why Eurocuck countries like Germany wanting to become the "guardians of democracy" is so fucking laughable).

The only way I could see Canada NOT doing this is if the Chinese order us to not keep these arbitrary restrictions. Cuz most Canadians fucking love China and the CCP and will do whatever their chink masters tell them.
