I threw myself into university life. My days began at 5 a.m. and often ended after 10 p.m. I was studying, volunteering, working part-time and building my resumé. I believed every sacrifice would matter.

Despite all my efforts, I hadn't landed a full-time job. The silences to job applications felt loud. For four years as a student, I had done a lot of unpaid labour — the kind of volunteering you were interviewed for to prove you were a good fit. But when it came to paid work, I heard nothing back.

Every month without work meant draining my savings and facing the guilt of calling home to ask for help.

So he got a degree in philosophy or...? There's no way an indian with a real degree that has volunteer and work experience somehow got zero callbacks for anything. And boo hoo story you literally just described how a shitton of citizens live (actually far better considering he had enough money to come here and be extorted, lived on his own even in a shithole like the DTES, and had savings...), no one cares (except the news unfortunately).

A year later, as stability grew harder to sustain, my friend’s mental health began to fray. He decided to leave the country for a time and asked me to hold onto some of his belongings until he returned. But he never came back. Even now I wonder if I could have done more for someone who had so much to offer Canada.

It must be hard especially with the lack of education. Most of the major universities are concentrated in or around the city. It also sucks that a lot of the smaller cities and towns end up regressing into homeless hellscapes.

People are picking up that the jeets almost always have fake degrees from fake schools. Also many employers are realizing that the hardworking immigrant is kind of a lie, they work for cheap, but they don't work hard or very well. Look at every house that has been built in the last 15 years.

I also love when they use the phrase "so much to offer Canada." Like what? Seriously what do you offer? To be a shitty doordash driver? To shit literally everywhere and run a Subway? To keep the Hyundai dealership in business as you are all the only people who buy Elantras? Please oh wise poop sages, what is it you do here?

The sad part is it's more lack of opportunity than education. Rural locations have few jobs at the best of times, and the majority of those are usually minimum wage affairs. Even blue collar work can be iffy because the population doesn't support more than a few guys with a local business, those guys haven't yet reached the age where they need to quit, and once they do they already have someone else lined up to take over. It's why anyone who has the chance usually ups and leaves as soon as they can.

It's hilarious how quickly employers have caught onto it too. At my previous job it was accepted practice to immediately bin any Jeet resume whose listed education was for an Indian school or any Canadian college that wasn't a publicly funded polytechnic school (like BCIT or NAIT) just because of the likelihood the credentials were falsified or worth less than a bootcamp course. Never stops being funny how everyone is in favour of TPD now, you simply have to get them in the right spot to have them openly admit it.

It's been the funniest shit when even my more Liberal minded coworkers are becoming increasingly racist towards Jeets. Even funnier are that the ones that are the most racist towards Jeets are other East Indians - notably the ones who were here before the floodgates got opened and are probably pissed they're being given shit by association, but still.

Smallest of Power Levels, but between one coworker blatantly pointing out how only Jeets are getting the better positions (and they have to clean up said Jeets fuck ups) and another flat out asking if I thought we were the diversity hires at this point? It's been hilarious as hell to see the "Tolerance and Diversity" masks slipping more and more.

It is also incredibly difficult to do anything in small town Canada. The town councils will flip shit if you try to build anything, mostly because they are filled with retirees or dipshit progressives. One doesn't want the town to change, the other thinks jobs make the planet sad. Anything they do let in gets nickel and dimed to death with taxes. Now you also have the natives screaming for a handout or years of consultation if you ever want to build anything or do anything with natural resources.

I legitimately do feel for established Indian families here who have been here long enough to be westernized. Imagine coming here when immigration actually meant something, building a life for yourself, becoming successful, and adapting to Western culture, only to have decades of goodwill blown up by millions of scam artists who are trying to turn Canada into the exact thing you tried to escape from.

It must feel even worse than any of us could imagine, since the country they escaped to is turning into the shithole they escaped from.

Also for anyone afraid that Canada would actually join the EU. You need unanimous agreement to allow a country into the EU. None of the right wing countries like Poland and Italy would agree to allow Canada in, neither would the French ironically enough, due to all the potential Quebec immigration.

If there is one thing I have learned over the last year, it's that I no longer give a solitary fuck about this country. All the so-called patriots have left are appeals to nostalgia/sentimentality for a nation that doesn't exist (if it really existed at all), mockery, or coercion. Leftist and "centrist" Canadians are the most emotionally exhausting people to coexist with--seriously, it's like constantly dealing with people with borderline or histrionic personality disorder. They want you to speak a certain way; think a certain way; and will scream to high heaven if you have the audacity to challenge their fragile worldview. You just wish that they would shut the fuck up with their self-important nonsense.

I'm done, simply done. It would have been inconceivable for me to want to wish for American tanks to roll into Ottawa. To see the Vancouver/Lower Mainland and the entire Windsor-Quebec City corridor bombed into the Stone Age (don't bother with the Maritimes or Winnipeg because they are already wastelands) because of their incessant braying. Their very existence has become such an unbearable affront to me, I want to see these pathetic egotists brought to heel and broken by yankee guns and the revelation that they were never that great. At this point since i'm never owning a house, I guess seeing libniggers get raped and buck broken by the people they despise the most is a consolation prize. I for one will have a field day watching the redditroons try and fight back (and preferably get betrayed by jeets hoping to curry up favour with the liberators) and watch cuckney get dragged off to a blacksite after being discombobulated.
