I don't see a world where US Telecoms, ISPs, or banks etc. enter the Canadian market. Especially now that legislation tasks them with censorship, spying and terminating service for wrong thinkers. Of all the things that are possible that has to be the least likely. Whats the point of ruling Canada if you can't have oligopolies with your friends and family?

The funny thing is that right wing parties are gaining support in Europe rn. So it would be the funniest thing if Canada does join the EU and then all the major EU countries get right wing governments. Unfortunately in that scenario, Canada would be a dumping ground for migrants that for some reason couldn't be sent back to a third world shit hole. Also there's no way we'd ever get shangan zone, due to the lack of quality control regarding citizenship. Unironically Jeet and chink citizenships could be stronger than cucknadian citizenship one day.

The US military hasn't invaded because the five guys denmark sent scared them off. That's it. That's what they are celebrating. I've seen them post memes, and cheer on the fact Europe has more soldiers than the US, ignoring their continent has double the US population. They'll take anything that looks like a loss for Trump, no matter how small, and trump it up (pun intended) as if they've just one a major military victory. These are the same clowns who think the Ukies taking a farmers field back from the Russians is another Stalingrad. Fundamentally unhealthy people looking for any "win" over Trump & America.

I keep hearing war with China in 2027. I am also hearing that we are going to war in 5 years for the last 4. So it could be a possibility. When you see the bold, international moves the US is making I would assume they are operating under the same assumption. Venezuela, Iran, shoring up Greenland, attempting to end the conflict in Ukraine all point to removing pieces from the board in the eventually of a Chinese vs US conflict.

Venezuela removes a friendly Chinese and Russian regime from the western hemisphere, it also isolates Cuba. Ending Iran as a threat keeps a front from opening in the ME. Ending Ukraine and demobilizing Russian soldiers would definitely affect their desire to engage in another war so quickly. On top of that with Putin getting old, if he steps down in a time of piece it would cause chaos in the Russian establishment as a new order would seek to establish itself. If Russia is in conflict then there is a real chance everyone falls in line and a smooth transition is assured.

Carney cozying up to China in front of the US and the world is only going to incense an American regime seeking to isolate the middle kingdom. Now I imagine that Carney's thinking was remove the Canola tariffs, allow a token few thousand Chinese electric cars. That the provinces will regulate to be unsellable in Canada. However, allowing Chinese dealerships, and Chinese companies to expand into NA is intolerable to a regime seeking to isolate its current adversary.

I also think that Trump thinks Carney is a tool and Carney thinks Trump is an asshole. I also think Carney is not used to being called out or publicly disagreed with, which is probably pissing him off to no end.
 
I can hear my folks listening to a YT vid discussing the 'decline of the United States' from the other room rn... These are the same people who were;

- Completely unaware of every scandal Turdo & co were a part of, & now when they do acknowledge them it's to be dismissive of them as 'actually not that bad/you're just exaggerating'
-Have no idea of what's going on with the economy despite complaining about the cost of things, while also completely refusing to believe we literally had no growth for the past decade as anything more than a fake RW talking point
- Complain about the Jeets for all being so 'misogynistic' & 'only voting conservative' (which is fucking wild) yet will immediately turn around and accuse me of being a maple MAGA/incel/manosphere chud (general response of theirs nowadays after learning the terms if I so much as display any potentially 'conservative opinions' such as pushing back on the kamloops mass grave, having an issue with CBC being government funded, thinking wind/solar is retarded compared to nuclear, wanting the BC tanker ban lifted, etc) if I so much as mention even just having an immigration freeze for a few years
- Have recently told me they voted for Carney because they trust him to be 'fiscally responsible'

And this is just some of the more recent egregious shit I've heard from them

I guessed I overestimated Carney's intelligence he really let the game slip. I've talked to some boomers that have TDS bad but since the China deal they've begginging to understand how hard we are fucked.
