It's actually simpler than you'd think. Canadians are ultranationalist towards the LPC, so if the LPC somehow became more conservative or right wing than the actual cons they'd still vote for "their team." Remember these people base their actions and beliefs on emotions, not logic. This is a pretty wide brush. Ontario, Quebec, maritimes and Newfoundland are all pretty distinct from each other.

Canada suffers from the same problem that many European countries do, in direct contrast to America: we are subjects of (a) Crown, not citizens of a country. Just as Japanese women are expected to get married by 25 and become thin housewives, Japanese men are expected to work long hours due to social hierarchy. People commenting on this problem don't actually look at the whole of Japanese society. Japanese school children often study long hours past school time, they are put into what are literally called cram schools, school outside of school. And forget about being fat, Japanese fashion dictates women to be very slender and thin, dieting is mandatory. There's a reason why Western social ideas aren't accepted by most Japanese. This affects everyone, right down to the Emperor and the Empress, they don't get a pass, in fact they are the most scrutinized of them all.

First of all the overwhelming majority of Jeets fail at English, they rank #69 in English fluency. The reason why Canada accepts so many Jeets is partly is because our English requirement is kindergarten level. Forget about Jeets taking over Quebec. Have you actually been around Jeets learning French? It sounds horrible. They as a group will never dominate Quebec, they as a group barely has a grasp of English, French is out of reach.

Second of all, while Quebec has migrants from Africa, and the Middle-East, the volume is relatively much smaller. Quebec is the only province in Canada with net-positive immigration from Europe (France). They're not inundated like Ontario. It's tacitly acknowledged we're almost certainly getting one next year once the leadership reviews/conventions are done and Carney has additional baggage to carry around. There's a reason for one the Libs changed the budget to happen in the fall and it's not because of "simplifying financial reporting."
