I grew up in small towns. I've dealt with them. OPP, town cops are all great. RCMP were always the worst.

A friend of mine dated the detachment commander's mid twenties daughter, when he was also in his mid-twenties. The Det Commander found out, went to his apartment and beat his ass with a baton. I had one live in my apartment building and would fire off a shotgun round every morning. They'd flick on their lights so they could run red lights. I was thrown down a flight of stairs by one. I and several of my friends were tossed in the drunk tank, while we were waiting for our cab to go home.
Friend and I got pulled over by some once. After he didn't consent to a search of his car and I asked if we where being detained, we left. So I guess they literally had nothing elso to do, so the zogbots literally followed us for almost 45 minutes until we got onto the highway.

Learning more about how RCMP handle missing person's cases in Canada make me believe they are either one of the most incompetent police forces on earth or corrupt to the man.
The RCMP aren't very good at screening out the worst kind of people that want to be police (Cluster B Clusterfucks such as Narcissistic Sociopaths or outright psychopaths). They do give a psychological exam of some sort but it's clearly not geared towards detecting personality disorders.

And when that's a thing, you have to wonder whether some of these awful psycho cops are the cause of some of these missing persons going missing, or know someone who made it happen, and blue wall all the way.

The sheer amount of fuckery in the ostrich thing makes it downright Satanic, one thing is clear and it's that that operation was managed and carried out by people who are either evil freaks, or incompetent to the point of evil, but either way if I was one of those ostrich ranchers I'd be harboring a killdozer tier grudge for life
Most government agencies have positions that are appointed by the Government. The current Government is Liberal and has been for the last 10 years. Therefore they're putting in their psycho friends and other mixed nuts into these jobs. I mean sure, if you want someone who's going to be coldhearted as fuck about slaughter and not dissolve into a blubbering mess, great, hire mildly sociopathic people. But the problem comes when the mildly sociopathic or highly sociopathic individuals are so Liberal that they gleefully go into full sadism when dealing with people who object to their absolute power and go far above and beyond their jobs into ensuring that the humans involved get put through hell, all for their own enjoyment. And that's not even getting into such individuals that infect the RCMP.

You guys are overanalyzing the whole ostrich thing. As soon as MAGA Americans chimed in the fate of those birds was sealed. It was just as much a big fuck you to the United States as much as it was a government overreach. This from the so called country of "environmentalists" and "science".
At the end of the day the average boomer liberal Canadian is smarter than those darned Americans. How dare the americans chime in let's make everything worse to own those maga Americans. At the end of the day cutting of their noses to spit the americans is the mentality that future generations are going to go what the fuck is wrong with these people.
I have always hated RCMP. Absolutely useless and always have been. They always are gleefully cruel to anyone and everyone they deal with. On top of being generally incompetent.
They have such a good PR campaign in liberal American media sadly. Most people want American police to act more like them which is insane.

Damn I always thought DPS were assholes in Texas from time to time but they tend to be corrupt in the Im writing you a ticket for speeding for $300.

I was looking at joining the reserves when I went back to school but honestly there's no way I'm serving for anything due to the state the country is. The upper brass in the Canadian Armed Forces are the most retarded people in uniform are are partially responsible for why the military is a shell of its former self. No housing, shitty pay, outdated and poorly maintained equipment that is always in short supply, poor training and and a command structure that ends up getting people needlessly injured or killed. I would honestly be more interested in joining the US Army or Marines than serve fat bureaucrats who ruined the country.
Reminds me of a certain essay some grunt wrote a while back. Mr. A Nonymous.

The RCMP embodies everything that the American Left hates about your average US big-city police department.

Damn that really does actually suck like i can understand why people hate the RCMP.
Like even local police here for all their faults aren't that much of assholes.

That is thunk provoking.

Canada actually has pretty good PR by authoritarian country standards. You don't see this kind of genuine admiration for a place like Russia or Cuba for example (outside of hardline tankies). While there are western leftists that willingly move here and basically destroy their own QOL.

Thinking about it, Canada is basically what the "Amerikkka bad" crowd thinks the USA is like (not saying america doesn't have any flaws either, but their problems are not as bad at least for now anyways). Extreme taxation, corrupt police force (RCMP), incompetent and malicious government, heavy foreign influence (China), overpriced housing, brainwashed population.

Also I've lucky enough to never have met an RCMP officer in person.

It's actually a common tactic with authoritarian countries to bring over people from one province and have them police another. This is so there would be no hesitation when the gov tells them to suppress the population there, since they'd have no emotional or familial connection to that area. For example, during Tiananmen Square massacre, the Chinese government brought over police from other provinces to the square, since many members of the Beijing police sided with the protests and the ones who didn't probably wouldn't want to massacre their own city either.

When is Brampton hosting the Indian poop festival? My guess is that the Indians will decide to hold it somewhere unexpected like Sarnia, only to the surprise of sheltered liberal White people.
As a test, 💯. Peace through pork I say.

I’m a fan of avoiding importing problems affiliated with the “red” areas illustrated below.

Police make arrests in Kleinburg home invasion that led to fatal shooting of father of 4 (archive only)
Police in York Region say they’ve arrested five suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion in Vaughan that resulted in the death of a father of four over the summer.

The incident happened on Aug. 31, at a residence near Andreeta Drive and Barons Street, north of Major MacKenzie Drive West, in Kleinberg.

According to York Regional Police (YRP), a number of suspects arrived at a home in that area in a vehicle that had been stolen days earlier in Toronto.

The suspects, one of whom allegedly carried a gun, then forced their way into the dwelling, YRP said.

A man inside, identified by police as 46-year-old Abdul Aleem Farooqi, was shot and died at the scene. Police have said that several members of his family were also inside the home at that time.

On Wednesday, Insp. Paolo Fiore, of YRP’s homicide unit, announced that three men and two youths are in custody in connection with the incident.

One of those individuals, 26-year-old Mississauga resident Amir Wiam Mohammad Abuhmaid, is charged with first-degree murder and several other related offences.

“At the time of the homicide, Mr. Abuhmaid was out on four separate forms of release,” Fiore said during the news conference.

Choszen Roshan Phillip, 25, and two 16-year-old boys, all from Toronto, have also been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Lastly, Jahvon St. Patrick McNairn, 34, also of Toronto, has been charged with accessory after the fact of robbery with a firearm.

Those individuals are not facing charges in the homicide itself.

The charges have not been tested in court.

Fiore said police made the arrests after executing five search warrants at three residences in Toronto and Mississauga on Monday.

Fiore said police are still searching for 16-year-old Jayshaun Williams, of Toronto, who is also wanted for first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.

Investigators have obtained a special court order to temporarily identify the teen, whom they believe is still in the Greater Toronto Area.

“If anyone knows the whereabouts of Jayshaun Williams, please contact our investigators,” he said.

“Jayshaun, we will find you. It’s time to contact a lawyer and turn yourself in.”

Police say they believe there are “multiple” other suspects.

“Our homicide investigators, with the assistance of members from our Criminal Investigation bureaus, never stopped working, their persistence, dedication, and unwavering commitment will continue. This type of investigation requires significant time, expertise, and collaboration across multiple investigative units,” Fiore said.

After the police news conference, the victim’s brother, Naeem, spoke out, thanking officers for their work in apprehending the suspects and calling for reform.

“We hope they are held accountable for their actions and not released into the public,” he said in a written statement provided to CTV News Toronto.

“We need to ensure Canadians feel safe in their homes and no other family should experience the nightmare we have been living since August 31st."

On Wednesday afternoon, YRP Chief Jim MacSween said the fact that the adult offender charged with first-degree murder in this case was out on four different types of release orders shows there’s a need for change.

“I’m incredibly disappointed that dangerous criminals are continuously released back into the community, only to reoffend and revictimize the public,” he said during the news conference, adding it’s “extremely concerning” that a 16-year-old youth is wanted in connection with this incident.

“We’re seeing the perpetrators become increasingly younger, while the severity of these crimes continues to escalate.”

MacSween said changes are needed to prevent violent offenders from returning to the streets only to reoffend again, as well as harsher penalties to deter them from committing “these atrocious acts in the first place.”

“Last month, the federal government announced legislation that would see reforms to the current bail system. We are encouraged by this step forward and will continue to advocate for a system that prioritizes public safety and keeps dangerous criminals where they belong,” he said.

“As this legislation is developed, we will keep our eyes laser focused to ensure these changes protect our community. We’ll continue to advocate for the continued changes necessary, and we’ll work with our provincial and federal partners to ensure the system protects our residents and puts community safety first.”

In a statement posted on X, Vaughan Mayor Steven Del Duca thanked police for making arrests in this incident, which he called a “senseless act” that “shattered a family and shook our entire community,” and urged anyone with further information to contact the authorities.

He also added that today’s announcement reinforces his previous calls for bail reform.

“Too many repeat offenders are out on bail because of our current ‘catch and release’ system – a broken approach that allows dangerous individuals to reoffend,” he said, calling on all federal MPs to support the “Bail and Sentencing Reform Act,” known as Bill C-14, that is currently before the House of Commons.

“Too many criminals commit crimes with little or no consequence. This must change—urgently. … Dangerous criminals must be kept off our streets and behind bars where they belong. Vaughan residents should not – and will not – accept this level of violence in our community or anywhere in Canada.”

This investigation is “active and ongoing,” police say, and anyone with further information is asked to contact homicide investigators or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
Remarkable diversity on display in this one.

I really think we're going to see the reimplementation of the death penalty become a mainstream electoral issue at this point.

If you don't mind me asking, where did this essay come from / when was it made? I applied to the CAF sometime earlier in the year just out of curiosity (and the belief that nothing would come of it) and my application is moving surprisingly fast. Skimming through this stuff is really making me question whether it would be a good idea to continue with the process, even if it would be worth some extra money.

2022.

It mirrors everything I've ever heard from Active and Reserve personnel alike. There's a few people from the regime's client groups who think it's great - for obvious reasons. A fat dyke getting smoke blown up her ass and a full ride will tell you the CAF is a good deal, especially since she can just get pregnant to avoid deployment and an abortion when the danger passes; but I've never met a man who served past 2002 AD who encourages enlisting.

It's a completely transactional decision these days. If suffering that atmosphere is the only way you can obtain something you really need? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That's your call chief. Just don't go Active with a girl or a wedding ring or you'll come out a cuckold and/or divorce-raped.

Ottawa Citizen has potentially unnerving news:

The Canadian Forces is counting on public servants to volunteer for military service as it tries to ramp up an army of 300,000 as part of a mobilization plan, according to a defence department directive.

Federal and provincial employees would be given a one-week training course in how to handle firearms, drive trucks and fly drones, according to the directive, signed by Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Jennie Carignan and defence deputy minister Stefanie Beck on May 30, 2025.

The public servants would be inducted into the Supplementary Reserve, which is currently made up of inactive or retired members of the Canadian Forces who are willing to return to duty if called.

Here’s some good news for the good guys if neolib rule in Canada degenerates into civil war:
“The entry criteria for the Supplementary or other Reserve should be less restrictive than the Reserve Force for age limits as well as physical and fitness requirements,” the document noted.

The bad news is that the bad guys have already largely disarmed the population — a prerequisite for anarcho-tyranical rule.

Their directive approved the creation of a “tiger team” which will work on setting the stage for a Defence Mobilization Plan…

The directive also points to a massive increase in the number of Canadian Forces reservists. …

Beck and Carignan pointed out that the plan would require a Whole of Society (or WoS) effort, meaning that all Canadians would have to contribute to the initiative.

If the shitlibs planning something that would inspire the next Freedom Convoy, it might be crushed even harder.

The only reason we do is largely because we're too insignificant for any threads and discussions like this one to filter through to the average person outside Canada. Even the UK still retains a half-decent PR image, itself only now being tarnished thanks to how quickly Starmer decided to drive off the cliff. Makes for plenty of humour when the progtards come over and realize it's not all sunshine and rainbows at least.

This scheme was already posted a few pages back, but this quote is really what makes this whole thing. They're not going to institute conscription, it's too much of a political suicide risk, and they sure as hell aren't going to raise taxes for it. At least that is assuming there's even a mobilization plan coming out of it; fully expect they'll take 10+ years, triple the scoped budget costs for it, and release a proposal to investigate some more buzz word concepts further. Nothing the Libs love more than fruitless make-work military directives and proposals.

Kelsi Sheren, who is a CAF veteran, recently told MPs in the House of Commons veterans affairs committee that “over 20 veterans have confirmed being offered MAID.”

“I have the proof, and I have proof of more,” Sheren told the committee during an October 28 meeting.

Conservative MP Blake Richards asked Sheren if she was willing to provide them with evidence to affirm her allegations.

Sheren noted how the 20 veterans have given written testimonies, or actual audio recordings, of when they were offered what in Canada is known as Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).

“We also have other individuals who are too afraid to come forward because Veterans Affairs has threatened their benefits,” she told MPs, adding that some other veterans were even offered non-disclosure agreements along with “payouts if they were to take it.”

Well that's nice of them, now you don't even need to look up the paperwork. Finally, something for the people! Hope soon they do like all the (really efficient, well run) stores and bring in self-serve so you can just walk into a room and behead yourself with a button
