Because the Liberal Party hates the Western provinces, especially the prairies, and ESPECIALLY Alberta because we are culturally different enough that we don't just fall in line.

Hell, Alberta and Saskatchewan were SUPPOSED to be one province, Buffalo, which would have been equal to Ontario, Quebec and BC in population at the time, but the Liberal Prime Minister of the time just drew a line down the middle of the territory and declared it would be two provinces instead.

I have lived in Alberta for just about my whole life, and honestly, people out here are far more in line with American values and philosophies than we are with Ontario thinking, and it has been that way for generations.

100% self inflicted. Canada is ruled by the Laurentian Elite, which is a cluster of close not families who all live in the same area and think they're nobles.

One of the reasons why Alberta wants to leave. They stalled with a Kings Court constitutional review which happens November 15

Because we are really, really dumb. In order to drive growth into Ontario and counter American expansion in the west our eastern port went from Halifax to Montreal. That's where people got off the boat and if you had the money you took the train to Toronto. After Confederation, established provinces like Nova Scotia and New Brunswick were banned from trade with the US, only Ontario and Quebec were allowed to ship things south.

With USCMA it is easier and cheaper to extract raw resources in Canada, ship to the US for refinement and then sell the refined resources in Canada.
 
Reading some of the media articles and reddit comments this morning over the fallout of Ford's commercial. They're all arguing that Trump's accusation of misinformation is misinformation and that this cut up commercial truthfully represents Reagan. Like it somehow matters if Drumpf is "wrong" and they are "right" on what Ronald Reagan would have thought on tariffs in the year 2025, and setting back the trade talks is a worth while price to pay to be "right" in this debate.

Ford is also fucking retarded thinking he is going to start some Republican civil war between MAGA and Reaganites by doing this. Dear god, imagine the absolute meltdown GOP ran a commercial like this in Canada with the expressed intent to influence elections.

Also, one phenomena I've been researching is the spread of bed bugs in the US and other Western nations. A year or so ago France held an international cricket championship and naturally jeets sent their team. This incident reminded me of the outbreak the US saw in the 2010's. I had also stayed as at a hotel recently that was the filthiest I'd ever seen, the only place in this city I'd ever seen cockroches. When checking out the next morning I of course saw the owner, a deformed fat pajeet. Jeets have been buying up all the hotels in recent years.

Anyways, I got to investigating and it turns out that American cities with the worse bed bug outbreaks are also cities with the highest number of Indian immigrants--with one noteworthy exception. Southern US areas didn't seem to match the pattern as well as the Northern US cities did, why?

Turns out the only way to kill a bed bug infestation is with heat, ideally irradiating a building to 118 degrees. This is why hotels and apartments have trouble getting rid of them, its almost impossible to get the whole building to leave while its being heated. Souther US cities routinely experience temps near this during the summer so I suspect bed bugs don't do well in these locations.

But I am 100% convinced jeets are the ones causing the bed buy infestations across the world.

Presumably the heat kills the bugs in India too, which explains why the Patel Cartel never bothered controlling them.

Also, are the chug grifters pro-immigration because they see themselves as discount Qataris? The more taxpayers the merrier.

Oh yeah one place I worked at had a Jeet start a while after me, after a few months of working while shooting the breeze he asked me how do I deal with the bedbugs which baffled me as I've never heard of anyone ever having bedbugs before.
