Canada is a failed state

Made the mistake of meeting with both of my parents today. Needless to say, both of them are completely fucking delusional about how bad the state of things are in the country, specifically the rampant mass immigration, and seem to be more concerned about me rocking the boat. They that unemployment is the highest its been since 2016 (ignoring the time we shut off the economy for their asses), that over one-in-five people in Canada are a fucking immigrant, that costs are going up while quality is going down, or that pretty much all the entry jobs are being taking up by immigrants.

By the way, what are you Kiwis planning for Thanksgiving? I know Canada fucking sucks, but the spirit of the country lives within you.

I plan to do a sober cold open at dinner with a surprise land acknowledgement, stating I would steal it all over again given the chance and with the support of a real King who isn't an actual cuckold.

This should be enough to upset everyone. Especially the gauranteed orange shirted recent graduates who do not understand why they haven't found jobs yet but espoused the existential importance of voting liberal at the last gathering.

Yes I am uncle Skitzo, how do you do. If only I was boomer skitzo enough to openly masturabte at the dinner table to the country going down in flames while degreed lobotomites discussed Epstein and Trump rather than Carney and Ghislaine. Or Carney and HSBC and Ghislaine's father, or Carney and Jared Kushner and Qatar and a few hundred other fully documented entanglements that were actually just some magical internet conspiracy made up by Russians.

Tim Hortons exclusively hires indians now, and is really, really shitty. it's impossible to not notice.
I have only been to one Tim Horton's that was predominantly staffed by whites in recent memory and that was at a rural location between Calgary and Edmonton.

Trump is fully aware he's the reason Carney got elected to begin with. He knows he has Carney right under his boot and Carney knows he has to just sit there and take it. Truly a sight to see.

After watching in full; Bro only spoke twice or three times throughout the whole 30 minutes. Thanks Mr. PM.
And liberal voters will still say that he's some master negotiator after being made to look impotent in front of him  again.

Thanksgiving dinner is gonna be interesting

When I was working for a company that handled their POS and signage systems back in 2019, in most of Southern Alberta there were four I worked on that had white staffs, and one had the only decent human beings as owners of the franchise I ever encountered.

One was the absolute scummiest I ever encountered. Old white guy owner married to a Filippina who brought all her cousins in on visas to work there and live at their house. They treated those women like shit, and were so cheap that, instead of the customary free coffee and meal for the technician at least being offered, I got bitched at for asking for a cup of tap water and not having brought my own cup or bottle.

Did you exchange gifts of beads and blankets?
haha no we didn't go that far. But if we did it would probably involve smoked salmon lol.
Want to go smoke some salmon [/indian lockjaw, to pronounce this in native-accent don't open your jaw all the way when you say it, barely open it at all]? To hear native accent listen to any Question Period from the House of Commons on CPAC and listen to Lori Idlout [NDP MP for Nunavut] speak.

turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, granny smith apple pie
This but Apple Crisp instead of Apple Pie.
My grandmother is about to get out of the hospital after a successful operation, so the family is going to surprise her by making thanksgiving dinner (her and my grandfather usually make it and host it) and a few close families are coming too. Decided to crack out my Serpentieres 2016 just for the occasion. Any other good wine/liquor recommendations?
First off food to hear she is doing alright. Second how young are you, that your Grandparents are still the primary host of Thanksgiving and it hasn't moved to either your parents or your Aunt and Uncle?
Did you exchange gifts of beads and blankets?
Don't forget the Firewater
Certain countries got very generous trade deals with the USA.

Except Canada, for some reason Ottawa cannot ink a trade deal with Washington D.C.

Again, pathetic.
The last few times it was because we sent Chrystia Freeland and her expert team of negotiators

Among the many privileges enjoyed by those who do not identify as members of the disfavored race we can add lower gym fees:

R Studios, a trendy wellness gym based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, openly promoted a $30 ‘drop-in’ rate for white visitors while offering a heavily discounted $15 rate exclusively for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) customers.

This violates Canada’s antidiscrimination laws. However, with neoliberals firmly in control, the law only cuts one way.

When racism has finally been overcome, only Caucasians will have to pay gym fees at all.
