The Liberals historically was the Catholic and French party, and they maintained their foothold in Quebec, despite the Liberals being neither Catholic nor French these days.

Conservatives historically was the Protesant and English party, with Ontario as the foothold. Through decades of multicultural and mass immigration policies, the Conservatives lost half of Ontario to the Liberals and the NDP.

Toronto was the largest Conservative stronghold in Canada, and losing it to the Liberals has been a disaster. The Prairies simply do not have enough ridings, by the time you count Quebec and Ontario votes you've already determined the election.

Nowadays, the Conservatives winning elections usually means trying to appeal to Indians in Toronto suburbs. A humiliating existence. That's why Poilievre will get on a stage with a stupid turban and promise he likes Indian poop.

There is no hope for Canada.

We have Chinese communist run police stations on our soil, we did winter training for PLA troops on Canadian soil, China already owns the country. My hope is the US sees the commie shitshow happening here and sends in the troops. It would mainly be for US security but it would be our liberation from tyranny.

This is why I chuckle when people say that the NDP is a leftist party.

In a neo-liberal "democracy," there is only one party: the rich elite. Everything else is just pompous bureaucracy that ends up costing the average Joe more in taxes. Liberals, Conservatives, NDP, Greens, all the same shit once you boil them down. The political parties in Canada aren't about political ideology, they're about personal identity - they're like sweaters or shoes or other garments.
