At th rate this country is going, we might become Venezuela at worst. Argentina at best.

But knowing the demographic makeup of this country, Argentina is impossible.

Maybe we will become Pakistan or something.

This orange shirt day is Bullshit in Canada.

Most poor indigenous people aren’t too doing well. I’m sure this orange day will keep homeless indigenous people from freezing to death on the prairies this winter.

It’s plain and simple virtue signalling, completely meaningless

The government wants them to die, it’s pretty obvious to see.

I ran into an indigenous man outside of the closed library on Christmas Eve -35 c, his hands were black with frostbite and he was screaming in pain. Most likely his fingers fell off afterwards, so now he is homeless and has little use of his hands. I always will remember that man on this useless day.

They are all getting replaced with immigrants from India and Africa. Good worker drones.

I can agree with that. All this truth and reconciliation stuff does is give indigenous people a victim mentality without any real solutions.

I have found indigenous babies and toddlers crawling around by themselves (lived in the hood). It’s not white people neglecting and abusing those kids. The change has to start with indigenous people themselves.

Idle No More was just as bad as BLM for perpetuating a victim mentality about non-existent white oppression of chugs and niggers, while turning a blind eye to how the groups themselves are their own worst enemies and washing their hands of their own responsibility to make themselves better people rather than trying to drag the civilized world down to their level.

That said, I did laugh my ass off at the number of Idle No More protests that took the form of sit-ins.

Honestly, it is more just left leaning white people, or white people who don't really care and just want to go with the flow, (That is, left leaning white people,) that fall for days like these. The natives I talk to at work have never worn orange shirts outside of orange shirt day, nor anything relating to the red dresses except for when it comes time to talk about it. Or if they'll get something out of it. Every Child Matters only for today. It is only ever the other white people that talk about Every Child Matters, or Orange Shirt Day, or the red dresses for the MMIW outside of the days dedicated to them. Fuck, even for most of the videos that pop up in my recommended when I'm signed out on youtube, the majority of the speakers are, again, white. Very little natives to be found talking about their own issues.
 
I wonder how many government workers who voted Liberal regret their decision now that their jobs are on the line. Carney cutting Canada Post deliveries must be a bitter pill to swallow. Elbows up though right? Those crikey Liberals and always "having your back" and protecting workers lol.
