I would suspect they're buying organic shit at the grocery store or going to Whole Foods. Hell, a week of shopping for us is like $400 and under but that's like, taking Costco into account. (and a family, not 1 person)

High cost of living area? Prices vary around the country and I tend to lean towards buying things on sale (even when sometimes one store's sales are almost like other stores regular prices lol). Also it's different if teenagers are involved (and there aren't in my case).
