I don't know why the author of the article brings up America for the first five paragraphs, kinda lessens the point of the rest of the article, but anyway.

There's one part of the article that reads:

I felt this pang of sadness. What a horrible low-trust society Canada has become.

Why are there so many break-ins, anyway? It's probably because of the socioeconomic situation of New Canadians, or perhaps the dour mental health among the city's crackhead population, or maybe it's because of racism, everyone's favourite scapegoat! It definitely isn't a bloated, ineffective, lazy police force... no, definitely not that. I mean, do we expect the police, the same Hamilton police force that receives 227 million dollars in funding per year, to prevent robberies? That's crazy talk! Everyone knows that the point of working is to fuck around all day, shirk your responsibilities as best as you can, and complain endlessly! That's the Canadian way!

That's if they completely received the 227 millions or not and chances then some part of it have gone elsewhere.

I still mostly blame left-wing judges and legal activists. I mean every article on crime in this country mentions that the suspect was already out on bail and had 10 prior arrests.

I'm sure the Supreme Court will try to pull something even if bail reform happens, since they made bail piss easy to get with R. v. Zora and R. v. Antic, but parliament should man up and notwithstanding them.

People don't realize just how much shit in Canada is a result of a Supreme Court that is stacked with left-wing judges. Conservatives here need to get like the States and either stack the court or ignore it.

Also, if people complain that jails are already overcrowded then we can reopen Kingston Pen and start stuffing them in four to a cell.

This is essentially the only answer.

You wouldn't have crime so bad and open and brazen if there were actual consequences. There's a handful of people that are just walking in and out of the revolving hotel door that is the court system, and this is throughout the Anglosphere.

The same people will be arrested for theft in the morning, get cashless bail before tea break, get arrested again at lunch, bailed again at supper, and then murder someone for dinner and finally have a $250,000 bail set.

The police are complete dogshit, but you can't really blame them when they've been thoroughly defanged and demoralised by the very system they are supposed to support.

They're not going to be staking out hotspots or arresting people when they can't finish writing up their statement before a judge lets them loose again. If they do risk using their powers, they'll be suspended and tried for murder for shooting someone who stabbed them. They can't do the job, even assuming they wanted to.
 
I can’t remember how much we’ve been discussing it here but one of the many irritants to the US by Canada is our weak enforcement and action against international terrorist orgs.

The last few years, Samidoun has been running roughshod in Canadian cities with the bullshit free palestine protests. While technically designated a terrorist org, the LPC hasn’t done shit about it.

Evidently the police aren't doing shit all with your surveillance footage if your neighbourhood is still a shithole with 10(!) plus cameras all over it, but you bet they'll use that footage to nab residents putting up spicy signs or dragging what's left of a burglar out and stuffing him in a trash can at 3AM.

Literally probably one of the most compelling reasons I became right-wing was because of my self-preservation. I want criminals sent to concentration camps.

I ain't Chuck Norris, so the last thing I want is to live surrounded by criminals, and they are most likely going to be Black (or Indian).

Software engineering? Try every form of STEM under the sun. Engineering in general for one in this country is fucked thanks to Jeets, with EIT positions as bad as entry-level junior devs. Reason in part is every Canadian engineering accredited university offers a Masters of Engineering program which is nothing more than a fast-track, course-based, engineering association approved program. Foreign students apply to it by the metric ton, universities happily take the tuition dollars and pass them all, and every job opening gets swamped by Jeets featuring an accredited engineering degree you cannot legally ignore. People look at Conestoga as the poster child but that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to foreign students in general.

Oh and all of that is before even getting into other grad programs. The sheer amount of nonsense happening with thesis-based Masters and PhD programs for the hard sciences is disgusting, especially once you consider these people are in line to take positions at government labs, clinics, hospitals, and university departments.

I went to a French-speaking college so I literally did not see Pajeets, mostly Frenchies and a few Africans. This was back in the 2010's. You'd be better off learning French and going to a French college if you want to avoid Pajeets. The education is probably better too on average compared to the English ones, I think they're just not as rated highly because of the language barrier.

I don't know how people allow themselves to be surrounded by Pajeets like that, it's crazy to me.

There used to be a time when the right and left wing served both national interests. Mass immigration is not exactly a left wing policy in the Marxist sense of the word. Because it undermines workers rights and wages. The workers of a nation state that is.
Western countries are no nation states anymore. Lets say since WW2. Economic zones at best, welfare states with open borders in real life. Any nigger can walk across the border or hop on a plane and claim the same or even more rights and benefits as a citizen. What does right wing or left wing mean in this context? Not much.
One gotta love the destructive power of "human rights". Whatever human rights you grant foreigners you take away from the citizens. Whatever foreign aid you send abroad, you steal from your own people. No Israel worship here but just an example what a real nation state looks like:
