And for the new protest happening on the 13th, they are STILL screaming for blood on what was never promoted as anything other than a peaceful protest. The amount of facebook comments from "counter-protesters" I've seen saying to "bring your baseball bats" or something along those lines is quite shocking for the same leftists who are normally so complacent and and submissive to their big daddy government. The protest has yet to happen so I will anticipate what actually goes down but the intention is definitely there nonetheless.

Once again the so called peaceful left never miss an opportunity to reveal that they are rabid brownshirts foaming at the mouth to eradicate any opposition to the party. And to no ones surprise, we rank globally in the world at #140 for housing, and we are nowhere near the top 10 for healthcare.

Also, why are we #41 for waste recovery? Is it all the Indians shitting on the beach?

To be fair to those employees the CERB implementation was so bungled that they told everyone to apply and they would sort stuff out later on the background. A lot of them also don't realize that Canada has way less people than the states, and our healthcare system is probably one of the worst and most bloated in the west.

I get dead stares like this when I explain the 9-18 month waits, the fact that even if you're making under 100k, they still take like half your income in taxes, and that things like medication, dental, and elective surgeries aren't 'free' too.

I have a cousin who grew up in southern California and moved out of that state as an adult when it started to fall apart. When we talk politics, he is very interested, and totally horrified, to hear how Canada differs from the States.
