I remember during the election saying to literally everyone in my family above voting age that canada cannot win any conflict against the US due to their economy and population being both 10x bigger at least and being bombarded with a chorus of "you're just spouting talking points" and my personal favorite "we burned the white house down". I am relishing in shadenfreude rn as I was one of the few in my family who didnt fall for it.

Apologies, it appears my "two-four" annotation for a standard two-dozen cans got too cutesy.

I'm talking about 24 tallboy 473 ml Cans of Bud Light Lime costing 80 bucks. $80.40 to be exact.

So $3.35 a can for American effeminate swill. A tallboy can with an extra third of the volume, but still pretty close to retail price for just buying singles off the shelf.

Hard liquor here is still really fucking expensive comparatively because there's still the LCBO monopoly without any extreme discount brands.

If you pop across the border, the name hard liquor is still comparable in price or more expensive than our domestic slop. But they also have extremely cheap discount brands for vodka/tequila/rum/gin etc where 26 ozs can still be bought for less than 10 USD if one is willing to slum it.

The city of Detroit could just walk across Ambassador bridge and conquer Canada. I'm pretty sure they're more well armed and numerous than the entire RCMP, local police forces, military and reserves combined.

I have no faith in the Canadian gun owners. Most of them are bootlickers for our government and wouldn't dream of shooting anything that wasn't a target or deer.
