I live in an area that's still considered "extremely white" and "too rich" for immigrants. I remember 10 years ago seeing a non-white person was rare, there were a few majority Asian neighborhoods (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) in some part of the city but everywhere else was about 90% white, 5% mixed race, and 5% everything else. Now, it feels like the population is 40% white.
