I think statistics should be taught in secondary school as a way to improve critical thinking. I had to do some statistics courses during my undergrad and it ended up changing the way I look at a lot of statistical information presented to me. Statisticians are basically professional liars. The better you are at fibbing and twisting the truth, the better at statistics you are.

If 100 dentists are asked which toothpaste they prefer, and 90 say they don't have a preference, 9 say they prefer Colgate, and 1 says he prefers Aquafresh, the makers of Colgate can claim "9 out of 10 dentists prefer Colgate" and use it for marketing purposes since that's technically a true statistic. Why are wages so fucking low in Ontario? I was just browsing Indeed and was shocked to see the difference in Manitoba and Alberta. This is incredibly unbelievable. The COL is sky high in Ontario and we have this retardation of wages in nearly every profession. But for those unfamiliar, BC geography is essentially unpopulated outside of Vancouver, Vancouver Island & some of interior BC.

To go a step further, BC has effectively ceded sovereignty of the Queen Charlotte Islands/Haida Gwaii back to the chugs, effectively meaning that for any reason the council or whatever can take your home or property at any time for any reason at all.
