Canada should be thankful to America because without it Canada would not have any form of national identity at all. it would be like South Africa forming their entire identity around them being superior to Rhodesia.

The biggest issue by far is Canadian citizenship, it is too easy to get (3 years) and we have mass immigration numbers basically at 500,000 Indians annually now.

That will automatically disqualifies us from the Schengen zone.

Canada could join the EU under the pretense of European heritage and political ties to the UK maybe back in the 1990's.

Canada in 2025 is Indian Punjabi Moslem and anti-European. Lol.

Unemployment is dreadful in Ontario. It's hard to believe things have gotten so much worse compared to a decade ago when things were already terrible.

In 2015 we were already dealing with excessive immigration and stagnant wages. Unemployment was definitely not low. LMIA had been around for seven years but wasn't as prevalent as it is today but it was already causing problems. Youth unemployment was very bad in 2015 as well (15-24).

I'm honestly shocked how it could get so much fucking worse when it was already bleak before. Harper was no friend to the working class, he created the TFW program, kept immigration high (by 2015 standards). But he couldn't do a fraction the damage the liberals did. The liberals absolutely destroyed this country.

Forget fast-food, farms are the way to go at this point for entry / intermediate level work, Jeets tremble at the thought of having to do any actual manual labour in the summer heat.
I still can't comprehend the fact I have already worked through multiple jobs at this point while still not even receiving a single interview from Tim Hortons / McDonalds, something about that feels so backwards. Getting a job in Ontario is the equivalent to winning a lottery ticket at this point, not impossible but you need a disproportionate amount of luck to actually get anything. Location, availability and skills do not matter at all anymore.

Its a mutation of being more 'british', and then later on being more socially minded/conscious. I find that people underestimate the smugness, however- and thats what has dominated the Canadian persona. I find most southerners to be kinder or more tolerant now, and even in placed like New York, etc- these people are down to earth. They're certainly not as smug as Canadians

One thing people need to mention as well with unemployment in 2015 is that underemployment is and was the big unreported killer. Imagine getting out of college or university in 2015, and then not being able to find any sort of job except bagging groceries at Loblaws, which you could do at 16.

Oh wait, thats pretty much the vast majority of my friends. So while 'unemployment stats' are low, underemployment has been the biggest pox over the past decade and a half since the recession, unironically.

The problem is, these aren't permanent and people used to want more. Its the entire point of getting into post-secondary education.

Why I say farm work isn't permanent is that for commercial farming, like construction, roofing, etc- you will completely destroy your back and knees by the time youre nearing your 50s even when you're very much in shape, so you'd better figure out a way to save money, optimize your income, or for post-construction. I can remember my neighbor and his friends talking about this a decade ago, and them looking for ways to transition into handyman work, beautification, something less intense afterwards, etc.

This I would call unskilled labour though, and it use to be that people aspired to higher/more. We no longer really do, and its honestly sad. Yeah, forget fast food- but like, if all you have in Onterrible is working on a farm in the heat all day and paying taxes for rent you can't really afford, its not a future either

For the longest time North Americans were so sheltered because of the Latino, Polish, and Filipino migrant workers, the least bad options.

The floodgates were opened to Indians and Pakistanis and this is where all the problems got worse.

We're becoming Dubai except the Indians get healthcare and citizenship.

The problem is that a significant portion of Canadians are still so braindead with regards to immigration, I had to explain to a Genz Z young White man why the immigration policy is retarded. It boggled my mind why they couldn't see the obvious, especially when it affects them the most,

This is what we're dealing with, a large braindead White majority who thinks flooding the country with mass migrants especially from India and Pakistan is a good idea.

A lot of white Canadians (and a lot of white westerners in general) do genuinely believe flooding Canada (and other western countries) with third world immigrants is good because it will make up for their "colonial guilt" and "white guilt." Instead of Canada we should rename it Cucknada or New India or Khalistan or maybe even become Palestine ourselves.

Like the traction for this shit is actually getting scary. I'm genuinely worried we could see numerous countries go full Muslim conversion in just the next couple decades at this rate, and these retards still refuse to acknowledge any of the depravities these people have done/are straight up actively doing cause 'muh islamophobia'

I do not want to share a country with people from a culture that still actively follows a religion which openly advocates for literal baby fucking & 'infidel' slaughters in modern times!

This is primarily in regards to what's happening in the UK right now but also relevant to the response to the convoy protest we saw 3 years back. I don't know how anyone on the right can be pro-cop and carry that "back the blue" attitude when they're so aggressive and complacent in shutting down anti-migration protests and other populist causes, while handing other volatile protests like the free Palestine ones with kids gloves. It comes off to me as reactionary in response to the ACAB movement that emerged in 2020.
I also have to wonder what sort of people make up the police, especially in the UK. You're telling me these white bobbies are perfectly fine with letting migrant crimes go while harassing elderly folks for microaggressions? You would assume people with conservative values would be the ones pursuing law enforcement as a career.
