So I just stumbled on this Nate Friedman guy while I was looking for protest coverage, and holy shit, how in the fuck are paid protestors not illegal???

I wish we had someone this autistic in Canada to cover our Muslim brotherhood niggers, closest we have is Moose On the Loose and his focus is mostly on tracking Carney/Trudeau and their monetary ties

These fucking suck. The Bella Ciao one is especially cringe with it being an actually historically significant piece. The juxtaposition of a song about rebel fighters in Fascist Italy being used for Canada's slap-fighting with the US would probably get a chuckle out of me if I didn't know that so many Canadians genuinely see themselves that way.
 
The Laurentine Elites spent all the 70's and 80' trying to build up a sense of Canadian identity so they could keep off American businesses from invading and out competing them by...well offering fair priced products in a competitive marketplace.

The thing the elites hate like poison as they know they can't compete with any US company due to them only being successful due to Federal interference and gifted monopolies. So "US company" bad was the propaganda of the day even as the elites used tax dollars to buy up American stock for themselves. Anyone remember the Mulroney Irving "scandal" hmmmm?

Come the 90' onward suddenly Canada is nothing more then a Economic Zone where everyone is welcome and just setting foot in the country makes you a Canadian, still not allowing any outside businesses in but every damn Jeet from Calcutta is more then welcome to come on in and bring the whole extended family along. What is Canada after all? Just a big empty space with some whites filling it so come on over Mr Singh Ramadan Goatfucker, your a Canadian now!

I want to see the East burn on the pyre of their own making. All those gold plated pensions, all those union guarantee's, all those rich civil servants who voted to keep the slush funds going. I want them all to burn along with what's left of the Canadian economy so they can enjoy the choices they've made over these last 75 years.

God willing the West will break free before the final collapse and bankruptcy as you just know the final act of the last Canadian PM will be to lay even more taxes and fee's upon Alberta companies to "assist the rest of Canada weather the storm as a good brother should".

They would stab us with the left hand while robbing us with the right and then demand we sacrifice what left of our industry to ensure Qubec's Federal Pensions get paid out.

Is this what you guys mean when you say that Canadians want it this way? As in, this is what the opposition looks like? Probably slightly powerlevel given the average "Canadian" these days but I proudly own an Ensign flag because fuck the maple leaf. We have one flag, it's the Ensign, and any Liberal apologist who suggests otherwise is far too lost to be a proper citizen. Pearson needs digging up and annually berated for allowing the "post-national" nonsense via changing colours and imagery we're now subjected to courtesy of Trudeau Junior.

Because the 90's was Canada's true descent into neoliberalism. The horror began then. Corporations eventually engulfed the country many years later and took over the government. the country is run like a business now even more than the U.S. Canada knows how to keep wages low and the costs of basic essentials high. Canada uses mass immigration and LMIA's to achieve this.

You're seeing the ugly face of Neoliberalism.

Americans haven't even got there yet despite all there problems. They talk about the threat of an oligarchy and "Trump the king" but they have no clue how far away from that they actually are. Partially due to their Constitution of freedoms. Canadians don't have anything to the equivalent.

Yes, Canada is an example of where the US would currently be if it weren't for the Constitution and it shows just how powerful the Constitution really is. Politicians in the US often try to find as many loopholes as they can, but in the end they can only do so much when these are absolute rules set in stone. The Canadian government can and always could do whatever the hell they want and that's where the underlying problem begins. It's the reason we kept Trudeau for so long and it's the reason Motherfucker Carney is now our supreme leader. Without our own personal constitution we were fucked from the start and it was only a matter of time we'd end up here.
