It's not that SSHRC needs to be cut, it's that the peer-assessment process and the bureaucratic management systems need to be completely overhauled to ensure that the funds are going to Cultural Builders rather than to cynics and box-checkers.

-Fire every bureaucrat, program officer, director, whatever, and replace them with visionary curators. Even if you have to scrap the whole program and then open a new one with a different name to get around union crap.
-Eliminate every "fuck you, dad" priority (no, you don't get the grant just because you're manufacturing the data required to crossdress your next oikophobic project in the vestments of dAtA-dRiVeN PoLiCy).
-That takes care of the administrative systems, peer review will be way trickier and won't be solved in an off-the-cuff comment on some Chud website.

-forgive all student loan debts and make the Universities pay for them
-create a tribunal to protect conservative, constructive, visionary, patriotic, pius, etc grad students from the caustic supervisors trying to wash them out of their programmes (so they can become peers, as in peer review)
-maybe even nationalise the universities, to take control of the accreditation process (or at least create one national alternative as a refuge for the undeserved wash outs)
-create your own "strategic priority groups" and insist that juries are 50 percent of them at least. Prioritise everyone who's been catching strays from the "fuck you, dad" priorities for the past fifty years. If they're not, then lose your funding.
-make liberal use of discretion at the administrative level to disqualify applications full of check-boxes, shibboleths, and cynical game-speak, before the proposals even reach the jury.

Keep in mind, under the secession rules that became law under Chretien, Quebec simply cannot EVER afford to leave confederation, as they'd have to repay 10 years' worth of federal payments to the province within 10 years.

This isn't an obstacle to Alberta, because Alberta is a huge net contributor, and the feds would have to repay Alberta, which will bankrupt Canada.

They should really impress that more into people. If Canada actually paid Alberta and Alberta went and gave 50% of it back to its citizens, how much would each person get? $50,000?

I dont really count on that because fucky stuff always happens legally and Im sure that theres a way for them to weasel out

but even past that- Quebec cant afford to leave because itd literally be bankrupt within a few months. Hell, its already got financial problems even with Albertas oil money coming in, so its like, big kek tbh

Which has ties to the mob. Pornhub is an easy way to launder money. I would not be shocked to learn that most internet porn sites exist to launder money in some way. Prepaid credit cards purchased with cash from a gas station. Then used to purchase premium accounts. Then with India on the internet, and you know those goblins will legitimately pay for it adding to your revenue stream to make it seem more legit.
 
While the quality of life for us degrades, Trudeau is out living his best life. Skiing in Switzerland and going on dates with Katy Perry. We don’t hate these people nearly enough.

Modern Canadian identity really revolves around doing the opposite of what Americans do and arguing you're better and progressive for it.
This is why there is no real dissident right in Canada just kosher conservatives at your furthest extreme.

Every single lefty still falls in line and votes for the pro Israel big business supporting lefty to stop fascism.
Meanwhile especially Canadian right wingers are "they're not doing anything about immigration so I won't vote for them"
But this was 5 years ago before the poo menace really started.
Canadian right-wing guys you failed to push your people right ward because you wanted to be Canadian nationalists and that post national nationalism is killing your country.
