If the politicians were actually interested in correcting these problems then that would be another story, but instead they reduce permanent immigration from 500k/y to 400k/y, and that doesnt even account for TFWs and "international students". They arent worried about the nonexistent justice system, only when they're personally threatened or if someone says something that isn't aligned with the regime.

And that's not including external factors that some of us have (friends, family in other countries etc.) Canada not only legalized assisted suicide, but administered it to its own state

I actually think the opposite. To rob something, it has to exist in the first place. There was never a "Canadian" identity, only British, Canadien, and Indigenous. When the federal government moved away from Britain in the mid-20th century, they co-opted the Canadien identity but they also stifled the creation of a singular unified identity and aborted any chance of it. I think a unified Canadian identity would be predicated on an actual merging of the core three identities, and that's yet to happen. I suspect that it will never happen because it would require actual honest insight into Canada's past, and most Canadians are too ignorant and delusional to analyze that kinda stuff.

Canada's oldest establishments are the monarchy, the church, and Hudson's Bay.

Considering there was a big article doxing a bunch of "white nationalist active clubs", and talks of active investigations I'm not sure what to think. On the other hand, you need to look at the location, upkeep, and taxes. You can buy ancient houses for literally nothing in Italy but they are in the middle of nowhere and are often in dire need of repair and update. Same goes for the upkeep and taxes, which is why much of the nobility abandoned their palaces post WWI and II. There are similarly many beautiful mansions that are quite cheap dotted throughout small towns and villages in the United States (esp in Upstate NY and the Midwest)- the same principle applies as in Europe.

Ultimately these are projects that buyers will need to fully embrace and not treat as just a house.

I clicked on the link and scrolled through it a bit. Maybe this is just a me thing, but something that I've always rolled my eyes at is this obsession with loyalism to the British crown that you see in these types of people. The neurosis always seems to be a way for them to cope with knowing that their ancestors chose to settle in Canada rather than stay to succeed in America.

I believe in social mobility and meritocracy, and the existence of a crown perverts both those concepts. Focusing on the British monarchy as a source of identity is unhelpful and passé.
